4:43 pm "We've got an undercard fight. I'm promoting the fight right now. I don't have a date set, but it's going to happen. Big money, Vegas, Pacquaio-Mayweather -- it's going down." -- Cowboys CB Terence Newman on his future plans to fight defensive backs coach Dave Campo

4:41 pm "They're good, they're good, especially Asomugha Nnamdi. One-on-one press guy in your face. He's long and he's patient. He presses a lot of guys, tries to jam you and get all in your face. He's real good." -- Cowboys WR Roy Williams on the match up with Raiders cornerbacks.

4:36 pm "You know, God Bless the individual, God Bless the young man. Love him." "There's nothing you can say. You know he was coming off a tough loss against the Dallas Cowboys so I guess that's all he had to say." -- Cowboys WR Roy Williams on the post game comments by Commanders S LaRon Landry.

6:38 pm Raiders starting DE Greg Ellis (knee/shoulder) was limited at practice, but coach Tom Cable said he expected him to play against the Cowboys, his former team. Ellis played last week after missing one game while recovering from arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgeries.

6:38 pm LB Isaiah Ekejiuba , a special teams ace, did not practice today and is questionable for Thursday’s game against Dallas with a knee injury he suffered against Cincinnati.

6:27 pm Some changes in the Raiders' return game could be brewing. PR Johnnie Lee Higgins and KR Johnathan Holland have both struggled. "We're working on some things right now to try and create some competition out there," coach Tom Cable said. "We'll work at it again tomorrow."

6:22 pm Starting LB Jon Alston (concussion), who missed Sunday's game against Cincinnati, has been ruled out of Thursday’s game against Dallas. Alston has suffered multiple concussions this season. On Saturday, he was dizzy and vomiting, coach Tom Cable said. "He's having some residual effects from that last concussion he had."

6:17 pm Raiders starting DE Richard Seymour practiced full today after suffering a lower-back injury in the first quarter Sunday against Cincinnati and missing the rest of the game. "He's able to get in and out of his stand and do the drills and run to the ball, so it was good," coach Tom Cable said.

5:28 pm Raiders QB Bruce Gradkowski said he heard from former teammate Jeff Garcia and coach Jon Gruden after Sunday's win. "I talk to Jeff every week, basically every day we talk. And coach Gruden sent me a text. It's good to know those guys are watching and keeping an eye out. I'm just excited to be able to play."

5:24 pm QB Bruce Gradkowski on facing the Cowboys in his second start for the Raiders: "I'm excited. We're very blessed to be playing on Thanksgiving Day. As a little kid growing up, you always dreamed of this day. It's just unbelievable."

4:24 pm The Raiders unleashed the blitz against Cincinnati and had 11 tackles for loss and three sacks, including one by SS Tyvon Branch and another by CB Stanford Routt. "We felt we had to get the quarterback out of rhythm," defensive coordinator John Marshall said. He could probably say the same about Cowboys QB Tony Romo.

4:20 pm The Raiders' defense ranked 31st against the run each of the past two seasons and they're 30th this year. "I'm really shocked, as a matter of fact," said new defensive coordinator John Marshall, preparing to face a Cowboys running attack ranked No. 8. "We just keep working at it."

Reviewing the replay issues

In the last two games the Cowboys have had to deal with replay issues against Green Bay and Washington.

In the former, the Packers were not penalized 15 yards for a replay challenge they did not have by official Jeff Triplette after a fourth-down catch by Patrick Crayton. Say what you want about the sack/fumble/down by contact ruling regarding Felix Jones, but they got that one right according to how the play was called on the field.

As for the latter, the NFL told the Cowboys that the replay booth never should have called for a review of a Jason Campbell scramble that led to an overturn by referee Alberto Riveron. The good news for the Cowboys was that Shaun Suisham missed the 39-yard field goal attempt after the seven-minute delay.

According to league replay rules, that kind of play is not reviewable.

Wade Phillips said he spoke with VP of officiating Mike Pereira.

"Obviously he's upset," Phillips said. "When it's holding or pass interference or those things there can be mistakes in there certainly and we see them week to week. But there shouldn't be any rules that they miss and I think that's what Mike was upset about. It probably did hurt us some in the Green Bay game and could have in this ballgame."

I expect heavy doses of MB3 and El Gato. Pre-season - Felix looked pretty good on screens.

I really wish they would have stuck with Jarmarcus (I dont think I'm the problem) Russell for two more weeks.
