wade says m bennett is the best blocking TE on cowboys right now

and another cowboy note, keep your eye on leon williams who at 6-2 and 250 has been catching the eyes of some media personnel along with coaches

who was highly recommended by ex cowboys coach todd grantham and wade said he was good in sub packages, while playing in the nfl with experience for 3 years now.

wade said that wiliams has exhibited a very good presence among the other dallas players, (meaning respect from the other players i think)

color me skeptical. this is exactly the sort of guy who will catch the media's attention in OTAs as he's going to be more polished than the guys (mostly rookies or less experienced players) he's playing around - more of an indication that he's got experience than anything else

yea I wondered about leon williams

Cleveland Browns
Williams was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round (110th overall) in the 2006 NFL Draft. In his rookie season he played in 16 regular season games and recorded 37 tackles. He made his NFL debut at the Cincinnati Bengals on 17 September. His 17 tackles versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on 24 December were a career-high. In his second season with the Browns, he again played in 16 games and this time recorded 90 tackles.
The Browns waived him on September 15, 2009

why was he released ?

He was a diamond among trash? :)

Many years an UDFA or the like finds his way onto the roster. I'm not surprised anymore.

I'm probally more skeptical, but the OTA's is the entire team, which means there are more veterens then rookies.

Wade is throwing Witten under the bus.

Commence intense rueage.

doubt the guy is playing with the big boys though ... he's probably in a group with the scrubs. so having the experience he does, he'll stand out
