2:28:46 pm "We’ll see when I get there, but I’m sure I’ll be fine. I was dropping back earlier and it felt good. I can do everything." Cowboys QB Tony Romo on the status of his injured ankle for Wednesday practice.

On the flag ship station, the cowboys are ranked like 13th, the guys on 103.3 saying let the players play with a chip on their shoulder, and let the cowboys fly under the radar some more. That will motivate the cowboys more.

some giant notes; watch out for coughlin, he is sneaky!
It was originally reported as a knee injury, but S Michael Johnson is suffering from a sore shoulder. It appears he will be active Sunday. "(I was out of practice) just for precautionary reasons," he said.

Cowboys QB Tony Romo on the Giants defense without Steve Spagnola: "They are real similar to what they were. A little bit different front they run. But predominately, you’re going to see the same Giants defense you’ve seen the last few years."

Orlando Scandrick will be starter at right corner this week. Scandrick discussed Giants WR Steve Smith: "He is not an average guy. He is quick and fast. He is a good slot player."

New York struggled to score points in Dallas last year, but things have changed. "(DT) Chris (Canty) was a big force (for Dallas) and (G Rich Seubert) can attest to it," said C Shaun O'Hara. Canty is now a Giant.

This guy is a downhill runner and you have got to find a way to get into the backfield and stop him. If you stop the run, you can win." Cowboys NT Jay Ratliff on the upcoming matchup with Giants RB Brandon Jacobs.

Giants DE Mathias Kiwanuka is looking forward to opening Dallas' new stadium. "I watch a lot of tv," he said. "So getting to watch an 80-yard billboard (tv), it's going to be interesting." Dallas' is the world's largest at 11,520-square-feet.

Oh guys wait till you read that what jacobs says about you;
The reason I hate the Cowboys so much is because they've got so many fans," said Giants RB Brandon Jacobs. "Everywhere you go it's somebody always screaming, 'Big D! Go Big D!' I don't want to hear that crap."

They are talented. They have a bunch of guys that can rotate in. They have a good scheme. Their coaches put them in good position and they fly to the ball and work hard." - Cowboys QB Tony Romo on the Giants front seven on defense.

Considering WR Hakeem Nicks (foot) is probably out for Sunday's game, fellow rookie WR Ramses Barden might be activated against Dallas. He said he was participating in practice as though he would see action.
3:17:55 pm Newly signed Giants RB Gartrell Johnson thinks he's a good fit for New York's running style. "They are a downhill running team... (and) they rotate three backs," said Johnson. Johnson was signed to replace the injured RB Danny Ware (elbow).
3:06:58 pm DT Chris Canty (calf), OLB Michael Boley (hip) and CB Kevin Dockery were limited in today's practice. Dockery said he had "no problems" in practice while Boley added, "I feel real good."
3:03:17 pm S Kenny Phillips (knee) didn’t participate in practice, but did suggest he’ll play against Dallas. S Michael Johnson (shoulder), C Adam Koets (ankle), WR Hakeem Nicks (foot), CB Aaron Ross (hamstring) and RB Danny Ware (elbow) didn’t participate either.

We need to be concerned if Barden is playing. 6'6 receivers are the match up problems that we know so much about.
