- Its going to be interesting to see what happens if Gregory falls to 27. He could very easily have been removed from the Cowboys board. If he hasnt I can see a heated debate in the war room. I dont think they take him. I havent heard of any contact between him and Dallas and getting burnt by Mo who they drafted with having any contact with is too recent.

- Dorial Green Beckham is becoming a fascinating storyline in Cowboy Land. Odds are very good that he is the best player available at 27 if he is there and he is a very real possibility. Part of you wants them to pick a HB, CB or DE. But part of you wants to see DGB opposite Dez. Ill say this, I actually think he make Williams a more effective player. Williams reminds me a bit of James Jones when he was in GB before they drafted Cobb. Like Jones his a dangerous player with holes in his game that hurts his chances at being a steady contributor as a full time starter. Once Cobb was added and Jones become the outside WR in multiple WR sets he was much more dangerous and effective. I think this could be T Will.

-Looking at there SDE invites (with the exception of Edwards ) those guys play some grown man football. Intense, high motor players. Owa and Hunter have the athletic traits to become good or even excellent pass rushers, and while Clark doesnt have their raw ability, but he is likely a more effective Day 1 pass rusher then those two. I would be happy if any of these three are Cowboys in 2015. However I would not be happy with Hunter at 27. Fan of the player, but too rich.

I think part of Clark's rise -- aside from getting his legal issues settled -- was he turned out to actually have a lot of raw ability too. It's just a different kind of raw ability. He's a tick slower in a straight line, so he likely can't make it as a RDE. But where others have better straight speed, he is unique in change of direction.

His short shuttle is elite -- better than Trae Waynes and most of the other defensive backs. He also put up a better long shuttle than every other pass rusher of note and only Gregory, Beasley and Hunter put up better numbers in the 3-cone drill. And on top of this, he was productive on the field.

I also bet he measured in with better physical dimensions than I think teams expected. I thought he would be one of those guys who was listed as 6'-3" at school but is suddenly 6'-1 1/2" at the combine with dinosaur arms. Nope. He's got a great build for LDE.

Not gonna lie, Im very excited about Clark and I think he could be one of the best picks on years
