I'm so happy we drafted him last year. I really hope we can upgrade at least the OC position this off-season, if not 1 of the OG positions as well.

this guy is just doing what it takes to be good. No bsing around, partying waiting til the season start and etc. He understands he wants to be great and be great fast so he is working overtime to get a head start on his development. Wish more of our draft picks had sean lee and tyron smith mentality.

I was really surprised and excited when we selected him in last year's draft. I honestly didn't have much hope that Jerry would take him so when he did I was thrilled! This season did nothing to squelch that feeling of elation about this kid and I am looking forward to seeing him at LT for a LONG time to come.

I don't think this is by accident.

This is the culture that Garrett is trying to encourage. Guys who love the game, know how to "finish", strong character, etc.

That's why I don't think we'll draft players like Jenkins (with high picks, at least). They don't fit.

Even in last year's draft, several of the players were also team captains.

Many complain about there is no difference with the Cowboys, what has Garrett done/is doing . . . . well, imo, this is one of the tangible things that Garrett is doing.
