Just spoke with a source that watched Tyron Smith in Arizona work out of a left handed stance and looked even better than when he was at ROT

@ProFootbalFocus Of course this is without full pads but word was footwork and angles were natural from word "go". Seemed at ease.

@iseekthelord Well it's a start but the fact that he is already working on his craft is a great sign for Cowboys fans. Good to get jump.

That is good news.

No doubt we got a good one in Smith.

That's very good news.

I'm so happy we drafted him last year. I really hope we can upgrade at least the OC position this off-season, if not 1 of the OG positions as well.

When he said, with a completely straight face, that his goal was the hall of fame, I stopped worrying about him.

Last year, when he got his helmet ripped off in the Giants game and he looked like he was ready to take someone apart with his bare hands, I fell in love.

Sometimes even I must admit that Twitter has its moments.

Good stuff.

this guy is just doing what it takes to be good. No bsing around, partying waiting til the season start and etc. He understands he wants to be great and be great fast so he is working overtime to get a head start on his development. Wish more of our draft picks had sean lee and tyron smith mentality.

This is so good the hear. He is one of the guys I am worried the least about, but nice to hear anyway.

What I expected......now let's get guys to help Tyron, so Romo can live

Good stuff.

When compared to its negatives, nothing beats Twitter as a newsfeed.

this kid gives me hope.

I was really surprised and excited when we selected him in last year's draft. I honestly didn't have much hope that Jerry would take him so when he did I was thrilled! This season did nothing to squelch that feeling of elation about this kid and I am looking forward to seeing him at LT for a LONG time to come.

Now if we can get DeCastro this year...

This is pretty much where my head's at right now. Please, Tim Tebow, let it happen!

I think we may have got someone that matches DeWare on the offense.

I don't think this is by accident.

This is the culture that Garrett is trying to encourage. Guys who love the game, know how to "finish", strong character, etc.

That's why I don't think we'll draft players like Jenkins (with high picks, at least). They don't fit.

Even in last year's draft, several of the players were also team captains.

Many complain about there is no difference with the Cowboys, what has Garrett done/is doing . . . . well, imo, this is one of the tangible things that Garrett is doing.

Even though I don't really want a guard at 14, the thought of Smith and Decastro next to each other is pretty amazing.

I believe Decastro shares Smith's personality. Quiet/professional/killer

They could man the OL for the next decade. :)

Or in T Smith's case, for about 15 years.
