There are seven 0-2 teams in the NFL. We are one of them. More stats about the Cowboys:

    • 24th in points scored
    • 22nd in points allowed
    • worst field goal kicker in the league

This is the mighty Dallas Cowboys, favorites to make it to the Super Bowl. This is an unprepared, undisciplined, unfocused, uninspired group of millionaires. They need a real coach who can whip them into shape and lead them to the fullest potential.

Great post. This team needs a change in the worst way. Let's start with kicker...

That's a shame, because it ain't gonna happen.

It's pretty sad to be one of the league leaders on offense (yards) with nothing to show for it (points).

One of the other 0-2 teams is the Minnesota Vikings, who went to the Super Bowl last February and were one of the preseason favorites to return. Just saying.

Where did I put that *poof* gif???

We also accumulated 18 penalties and have a -4 turn over ratio

Or have a pretty capable defense that can't buy a turnover.

You had me thinking there for a minute -- 'Did they go to the SuperBowl last year?' -- No - They couldn't have....:)

To lead in yards on offense is the most overrated stat on the planet. Yards doesn't win games, points do.

I would prefer 3 yards a game and 500 points. Yards? Who gives a damn about yards. Give me points, or take your loss and go home.

I think everyone knows the Vikings capture lightning in a bottle last season.

Favre had the best season of his career, they got off to a really lifting start and never looked back.

They completely overachieved.

A lot of the problems we have demonstrated these first two games surfaced during the last NFC Championship game for the Vikings, which prevented them from reaching the Super Bowl. Hopefully, we can get some things corrected so that we can enjoy that same opportunity (but not to Favre it up though).

True, and I'm not saying otherwise. But when you're moving the ball, that should put you in a position to score a lot of points. We're not doing that, which is sad.

Problem is penalties and we don't run the ball consistently. Once you get into the redzone, the passing becomes harder because of the shorten field. You need to be able to run the ball better in order to score consistently.

Everyone already knows teams take on the personality of their head coach. They suck just like Wade.

Yep, I think that's pretty much true. Nice guys, like Wade, but not champions. There are always exceptions, like when Troy, Emmitt, and Michael led the '95 team to Super Bowl victory despite Barry Switzer, but the DNA of that team had already been established with Jimmy's leadership.

Let's be honest, it takes two parts: great leadership at the top, and great leaders on the team. We had that in the 90's in a magical way. The 49er's had it. The Patriots had it recently. Well, there's no reason for me to go through the list.

All that to say that I truly believe we have some team leaders in place, but we don't have the guy setting the tone from the top.
