I wouldn't throw all philly fans under the bus, there are some great guys like westbrook36, whodel, number5, and a bunch more............

but.........I think you get a bunch of philly fans together and its kind of like gang mentality, who can outdo who, who can shock who by being a disgusting pig. Next thing you know, the whole attitude takes over and they become vile.

Get them alone, and I bet most are fine, but put em together and they can be a pack of wild dogs, only they smell worse.

smell worse :lmao2:

there is a reason everybody hates Philly, they use the word passion to try and make some of the things they do and say seem alright - it's not passion, it's being low lifes.

I just want to say I merged these threads about eagles and giants fans being classless and moved them to the NFL zone.

In a time where people should come together, show some class and be humans...I just don't think they merit the attention with the negativity.

As a line from one of my favorite movies go, this is how those fans should be approached....

Oddball: Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Actually I did forget that.
That's something I'll never forget.

I knew the Playmaker's career was over.

As if any of us needed another reason to hate the Eagles and their drunken hoard.

No surprise some of them look at this tragedy as good news for their team.

May they all rot in the town with no titles.

The team's greatest highlights in modern football consist of losing two Super Bowls.

Losing is their greatest achievement, I do find that fitting.

People cheered airliners slamming into skyscrapers a few years ago. You think one man's death will phase them?

Aint that the truth. Some people just dont got a heart, just aren't humane. True rivalry is that which is made with respectable boundaries and 2 sides emotionally attached to their teams, yet human. I guess thats on them, Just tells you the kind of people ( i use it lossely) they are.

Feel sorry for those that speak against the dead out of hate and anger.

They have bigger problems and will face their own demise in time.

Wait for all the facts to come out in the case. I have a sneaky suspicion drugs are involved. I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor or his girlfriend was dealing drugs/involved with drugs. It's dog-eat-dog in the drug world. And if Taylor was involved in drugs, he gets no sympathy.

Something else sure seems to have been going on, but now's not a good time to speculate about what.

Even if Taylor was involved with drugs, the story's still a sad one and his family deserves sympathy.

i guess cruel and heartless then, cause im not sad at all......im not happy or joyful or even angry either. i am merely indifferent.

i am disturbed about the fact that a man was killed inside his home with his family, especially a week after someone broke in and left a knife on his bed. I just don't know or understand the circumstances behind the whole string of incidents....i have questions and want answers.....but in the end, a man will still be dead.

a couple in my Sports Marketing class were talking about Sean Taylors death and not how they were sorry for them but how it could help their team in the future.

Can you believe these Philthy fans? or are we just not shocked at all...

No different than a skins fan talking about how this hurts the team (not emotionally, but on the field). While this is a tragedy, there are soilders in Iraq being killed every day, and innocent people getting murdered all the time. If he wasn't a football player, only of a fraction of people would notice. This type of talk is definately insensitive, but it's not like they're calling his relatives and saying this, or printing it in a newspaper.

If he wasn't a football fan, no one would even know he existed (other than his immediate family).

Well, DUH... somebody alert the Department of the Obvious, CCF is trying to be "profound" here...

We probably wouldn't be talking about him in here if he wasn't a football player, either... strange how that works, FOOTBALL FANS, talking about the violent death of a young, prominent FOOTBALL PLAYER, on a FOOTBALL FORUM...

What an interesting concept... you're absolutely right, if we're gonna talk about the violent death of a young, prominent FOOTBALL PLAYER, on a FOOTBALL FORUM, we really are obligated to discuss at length the violent death of anybody, anywhere on the planet... to do less would be completely hypocritical on our parts...

So listen up, everybody, CanadianCowboysFan and GimmeTheBall have declared it inappropriate for us to discuss the death of Sean Taylor further... let that end the discussion right here, right now...

That's a self-awarded title, the mods in here often indulge us with such things... but "semi-official loose cannon" was actually my second choice, if I'd had my druthers I'd have gone with "HMFIC"... apparently, the mods knew what that acronym stands for... LOL...

I'm thinking of eventually changing my sig line to "Heaven doesn't want me, Hell's afraid I'll take over"...
