For accuracy, let it be noted that he only played WR his first six seasons, the last four he was strictly their punter... and while splitting duty at the two positions, he had two seasons where he missed two games... this probably left the Bengals scrambling to find a credible punter for those games...
Nope, Stanley, I just think that using a position player as your punter is a bad idea... even if Danny White did it, and did it quite well... of that player sprains an ankle running a route, suddenly you have to fill two holes on your roster...
Again, though, I'm not opposed to looking at Coale as an emergency punter, somebody you could bring in to finish the game if your starter got hurt...
