Of course every stat has to be taken in context, but these do give an idea of how much of the load Romo was forced to carry, in large part because of the defense. Hopefully we see a much improved Defensive unit this season.

Thinking retrospectively........i get soooooo pissed at his wasted years, at no fault of his own.

Stupid FO shenanigans..............Games lost due to; an owner who drafts and makes decisions out of the bottom of a Johnny Walker Blue bottle..........a ****-ton.

Ugh.

Thanks for posting.

Always have been a Romo guy...hope the team can put it together and make a run or two before he retires. I want Romo to get a ring more than any player I can think of in any sport throughout my life.

And to think it's taken the FO all these years to figure this out!

Romo friendly is building a team around you, not top flight skill position players that sell jerseys!

Yep, zero offensive line help for most of his career. Little defensive help. Demarcus Ware was our defensive leader and he gets a pass somehow?

From the franchise's 1960 inaugural season until 2005, the Cowboys lost 9 games when scoring at least 30 points at home. That's 46 seasons.

In the last nine seasons, the Cowboys have already equaled that, losing 9 games when scoring at least 30 points at home. On average, since 2006, we've lost one such home game every year. It happens to the average team about once every six years. We lost six such games in three seasons from 2011-13, when no other team lost more than two.

Now some good news. 2014.

Tony is our guy and more than anything I want to see a couple Super Bowl rings for him. He's paid his dues and I've been a fan for fifty years and he's right up there with the elite QBs.
