First they have in their write up that Brad Johnson was the holder who shoveled the pass off to Robbie Gould on the fake FG. LOL!

Second, Robbie Gould's passer rating is a stratospheric 39.6 to Grossman's 27.5. Romo's was 100.1.

Barber ran for a 6.8 yp/carry avg.

Owens had a 18.1 yp/catch avg on 8 balls.

Witten had a 15.0 avg. on 6 balls.

Romo spread the ball to 7 different receivers.

Our 3rd down efficiency was 31%. That's not good.

We had 12 penalties for 100 yards. There's a Parcells special.

Time of possession was in our favour for almost 9 minutes more.

Most importantly - we won the game!

3rd down efficiency suffers when you shoot yourself in the foot with penalties.

...is an interesting stat to consider against teams who are stronger offensively.

Not being able to sustain your drives leaves an opportunity for opposing offences.

Something to watch for when we play teams other than the Chicago Bears.

Many of the 3rd failures were in the 1st half when we were gettin 2nd and 20 and 3rd and 15 from stupid penalties. not to mention we were going against the top rated defense in the NFC and probably on of the top 3 in the NFL. That stat alone means nothing just like if in few weeks we are doing 3rd doowns at an 87% clip against some weak team.

Whats the average for the league

... a winning record 46%. I was too lazy to count the teams with losing records. I don't think we want to be compared to them anyways.

So Dallas is 44% on the year and the avg for winning teams on the year so far is 46% it is non issue right now.

I have been watching football for over 40 years and tonight was the first time I realized that Dallas getting a first down was a penalty.

Stats don't matter when you kick the crap out of the best defense in the NFL...

This was a good win for us no matter how you slice it...

...Dallas' 44% was based on the first two games. This last game we had a 3rd down ***. of 31%.

As you stated much can be because of the Bear's defence. This is will be an interesting stat to watch.

Alot of our bacon was saved today by some timely plays made by the defence.
