Am I the only person who gets miffed when they imply that the only reason for Dak's success is the o-line? I understand that they are important , but as soon as Prescotts name is mentioned , they immediately pivot to the o-line.

No big deal, but it bugs me .
Do you think Dak would be doing what he is doing behind the Rams or Vikings line, I love what he is doing now but the oline helps a lot and the running game doesn't hurt

I tend to recall Aikman had the same thing and he is now in the Hall of Fame. So what's wrong with that?

Pretty sure all the other HOF QBs have had great protection as well, it is a TEAM sport. Should we put asterisks on their names just to remind us it was not all them?

Love all these back handed compliments given to Dak from the Romo crowd. You're trying to compare a 13 year vet with a genuine rookie. That says a lot about Dak.

Isn't it a synergy, brah? Those lines would benefit a great deal from a more mobile QB...and vise versa. Emmitt had a great Oline AND none of his back-ups were ever able to come even remotely close to his productivity behind it, no matter how hard we tried to establish a second option during that era to spell him from wear and tear.

I think Emmitt's greatness was often dismissed because of his great Oline and I think it's very frustrating when media/contemporary comments dismiss the talent of the individual as only being the beneficiary of a great supporting cast. Bottom line, both points are valid in my view and, indeed, are co-dependent.

There is nothing wrong with having a great line and good running game I was responding to someone So was miffed by the oline being brought up every time Daks success was mentioned

Do I think Dak Would still be as successful as he is now, I don't know he did pretty good at MSU it's possible

Pretty much the same o-line as last year, didn't seem to help the more experienced Weeden and Castles last season ... the run game is better this year, but Dak has played very well, regardless of the team around him he still has to make the throws and plays...

Ahhhhh I love when Jimmy says Dallas hasn't played their best football yet.

I loved that too.

I keep wondering what happens after Thanksgiving when Church and Claiborne come back? What happens if Jaylon Smith gets on the field? Is it guaranteed that Dallas will never see Randy Gregory again? Could the player the Cowboys take off the IR be Charles Tapper?

Jimmy is right - the Cowboys definitely have not seen their best games yet.

Just another attempt to cover up your flawed draft analysis, eh? Don't worry, you'll have a decade to practice that...

Target, cease fire...

This draft has from the onset, had the markings of a once in a decade contribution. I will want to see how the defensive additions add up over time.

Oh Gregory will be back if he doesn't get himself suspended again.

Week 14 he is eligible.
