9:20:13 pm "I think we're communicating more. Tony (Romo) is throwing me more balls. We're talking about different routes, he's getting the ball to me and we're making plays where we can." -- Cowboys WR Miles Austin on communication between he and QB Tony Romo.

9:19:25 pm "We did pretty good against him, though he did have a few catches. He is a great tight end who's going to be in the Hall of Fame but we had a pretty good game." -- S Gerald Sensabaugh on holding down Falcons TE Tony Gonzalez.
8:55:46 pm "They have a tough running game and we relaxed when Turner was not out there." -- Coach Wade Phillips on how the Cowboys defense was able to shut down Falcons RB Michael Turner holding him to 50 yards rushing but allowing back up Jason Snelling 68 yards on 7 carries.

8:55:19 pm "Miles has been doing good things all year. It's nice to see that all his hard work is paying off."-- Cowboys QB Tony Romo on WR Miles Austin's 6 catches, 171 yards and 2 touchdown performance.
8:54:35 pm "We were good in the three phases of the game today. We are very tough when we put it all together. It was a good day, I feel happy as a unit." -- Cowboys QB Tony Romo on the Cowboys 37-21 victory over the Falcons.

8:52:54 pm "When I was in Atlanta, I was told this was a young man's game. ... I guess this old man just got a win." - Cowboys LB Keith Brooking on his final meeting with the Atlanta front office before he was released.
7:17:47 pm Cowboys QB Tony Romo has averaged more than 10 yards a completion for the 2nd game in a row. For the season, Romo has done that trick three of his six starts.
6:59:13 pm On WR Patrick Crayton's 73-yard punt return for a touchdown, one of the blockers on the return unit was K David Buehler. Buehler has also chipped in on the Cowboys special teams with 4 touchbacks on kickoffs as well.

6:35:16 pm Cowboys WR Miles Austin still has a 4th quarter remaining but so far in two games he has had 15 catches for 394 yards and 4 touchdowns.
6:02:16 pm Going into this weekend's action, there were three teams in the NFL that had not allowed a touchdown in the 3rd quarter this season. The Cowboys, Falcons and Colts were those three teams.
5:29:23 pm Give Cowboys coach Wade Phillips some credit, since the Falcons opening touchdown drive. The defense has had three sacks and caused two turnovers.

5:17:17 pm Early on Atlanta seemed intent on attacking the Cowboys' best CB, Terence Newman -- and with some success. However, the one time that they threw away from Newman the result was an interception by CB Mike Jenkins.
4:55:52 pm More on the Cowboys QB Tony Romo injury. It appears that they are working more on the neck that shoulder. Back up Jon Kitna has been warming up.

4:55:13 pm Could be a bit of bad news for the Cowboys on QB Tony Romo's 17-yard scramble. The training staff was summoned to check Romo's right shoulder.
4:42:57 pm Cowboys return man Allen Rossum has injured his right hamstring and his return is doubtful.

4:25:01 pm Looks like Cowboys S Gerald Sensabaugh has drawn the assignment of covering Falcons TE Tony Gonzalez. Gonzalez has gotten the best of him early in the game.
4:15:49 pm The worst kept secret at Valley Ranch this week was that WR Miles Austin would start in place in Patrick Crayton. Well, it's a secret no more. Austin will indeed start opposite Roy Williams and Crayton will be the 3rd receiver.

3:12:10 pm Something to watch for the Cowboys today, RB Felix Jones is playing in a knee brace for the first time in his career. Jones had never done it in high school, college or pro.
2:57:19 pm Inactivies for the Dallas Cowboys: S Mike Hamlin, LB Jason Williams, OG Montrae Holland, OC Duke Preston, OT Pat McQuistan, WR Kevin Ogletree, LB Curtis Johnson, 3rd QB is Stephen McGee.
