Again it’s not a thing. Even if say 100-500 people said that compared to the I'm assuming many 1000’s on this site that post this isn’t a meaningful percentage to act like this is the prevailing sentiment. Please stop it.
Many say it. Please stop it.

Rush is a capable backup QB, on a good team, he's capable of steering the ship thru calm waters, but he is not capable of steering a leaky ship through a storm.

Rush is capable alright .

Is he elite and deserves 60 million per season , is that the question ?

This has nothing to do with Dak

Has nothing to do with Daks contract

Nothing to do with Dak being good or not

But there was a large segment in here that thought Cooper Rush was a capable nfl qb. Please stop. He’s horrendous. His arm talent grades out as an F-
Get rid of the Dak crap. Dallas has a very poor team. No quarterback is going to do well. 2 rookie offensive linemen.

Those who understood that Rush was more of a passenger in those wins they kept bringing up than a driver are not surprised at how he played. Mind you his previous stints as a starter featured both Zeke and Pollard and the line playing pretty well to boot. Pollard is gone as is that version of Zeke and the line is in shambles. I was neither disappointed nor surprised at what I saw yesterday. It is what it is. It was mentioned several times earlier this season that Dak was masking a LOT of what was wrong with this team by running out of sacks, throwing into the tightest windows possible and so on. At least without him in the lineup we can see first hand all the things that need to be addressed this offseason. I still think the line will be okay with more time together. Dowdle is an okay back but he does not appear to be able to take over a game for any length of time. Zeke also ran okay but that fumble was unforgivable. I know sometimes the other guy gets a helmet right on the ball but damn. Not that it would have changed the outcome of the game any.. but it would have been nice to be ahead for at least a minute.

The team is bad, yes. But your statement is hyperbole. Elite QBs (mahomes, allen) would have this offense playing significantly better than it is. Lamb, Ferguson, Colbert, Turpin are not that bad a group.
Mahomes would look horrible in this system. Who would you throw the ball to. All they have to do is double team lamb and everything else is over. He would be hurt by the third game.

All three Cowboy QB's have no business being in the NFL . They need to be returned to their respective dumpsters before the garbage truck gets there .
You still don’t get it, the team sucks, the only reason why we were ever any good was because of Prescott.

We have seen this stat several times and it obviously impacted Rush Sunday coz he played with zero confidence to complete any passes beyond 10 yards.

Yeah with our receivers getting zero separation there was little chance a noodle arm like Rush was going to have success against a sticky defense. It was hard to watch.. but hopefully now people have seen how different the offense plays with Rush vs Dak. Not that I expect Dak haters to give him any credit.. but they won't be able to hide from all their proclamations that Rush was as good as Dak and that the offense wouldn't look any different with Rush under center. This team barely scraped out 150 yards of offense. Actually it was less than that if you count sack yardage. That's over 100 yards less than they put up against Detroit in Dak's worst game. In fact the Cowboys have never had less than 150 yards total offense in a game that Dak started since he came to Dallas. They have had a couple of sub-200 games.. including twice last season at San Fran and at Buffalo. But those were both in the high 190's. 146 is a whole nother level of futility.

I don't believe for one second that Rush is as bad as he played yesterday.
I do believe someone wanted us to think that.
But we've all seen Rush play better and the Cowboys win when they felt there was still hope for the season.
The playcalling was terrible.
But just like when Dak was injured before his first extension, it's as if someone wants fans to believe that the sky is falling without Dak.
Which would make sense now that Jerry mortgaged the team's future with that ridiculous contract he gave him.
I think someone put on a show for the fans to see yesterday.
Rush never stood a chance with the Prescott playbook.
Heck, they even had him screaming out ..........HERE WE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.........dang just give Dak a full body tattoo and dye his hair Red and you're good to go.
No new plays were implemented for Rush to fit his talent base whatever it may be good or bad.
MM you're lazy or rightfully so you just don't care anymore.
Oh well ............ Here we gooooooooooooooooooo
