Before tonight rush was 5-1...pretty good back and fully capable....basing opinions on his prior play is fully justified
Exactly.

He looked awful today. No argument there

With Dak we probably lose 34-16 instead of 34-6

That's not worth $60 million a year
Time to start looking for a true franchise qb. Actually it's long overdue but the sooner they work on finding such a man, the better

We don't have a legitimate NFL qb on the roster as of today

This has nothing to do with Dak

Has nothing to do with Daks contract

Nothing to do with Dak being good or not

But there was a large segment in here that thought Cooper Rush was a capable nfl qb. Please stop. He’s horrendous. His arm talent grades out as an F-
I learned today that I dislike 3 QBs on our team

Rush has bottom tier arm strength, possibly the worst arm in the NFL

The 5-1 run was always a little magical (lucky) but Rush can't push the ball down field, the Cowboys WR's are bad at creating separation, and the Cowboys’ route concepts are decades old. Horrible combination.

Plus, the Front Office killed any depth this team had and are overly reliant on their overrated drafting ability.

Over the years many of you have mistakenly credited this Front Office for their later round draft finds and UDFA signings, but the reality is the Front Office's refusal (inability) to use Free Agency to improve the roster like 98% of the league, creates a lot of opportunities for late-round draft picks and UDFA's. Cooper Rush was cut by the Cowboys and then cut by the Giants before coming back here and beating out the likes of Garrett Gilbert (6th round pick, now out of the league) and Ben DiNucci (7th round pick, now out of the league). He's not the guy you hope he is.

Dak homers puffing out their chests. You do realize every QB on this team is garbage, right? The result is the same no matter who is driving, so why celebrate ANY of these bums that Jerry has saddled us with? The highest paid player in the NFL gave us 3 wins, looked terrible, and now will come back in year 10 even less mobile. He's done. Rush is a done backup. Lance never was. Only difference is Jerry crippled the team for years to pay one of them.

He's been productive for us in the past. He hasn't been good this year. We're probably not a good fit, at this point.

Not a Dak homer. Was against signing. It’s entirely possible to not like any of them. So try again.

Wasn't calling you out specifically, but if you raised your hand there...

I've seen far more blatant celebrations of Rush's failure and "See?? Dak is fine!!" posts today.
who is celebrating this failure?

Rush was playing against a soft schedule with a better team lined up around him. He limited mistakes and the defense was good. He was a bus driver. Anyone who thought he was better than Dak was just delusional. I am not a Dak fan and I hate the contract Jerry gave him, but he is by far the best QB on this team. That's not even in question.
