Some of you will never be positive, or happy about anything

So, why don't you quit eating and drinking it? Seriously, the game should be fun, if it pisses you off. Why bother with it? I get the, I've been a fan for 40 years....but, I used to like ketchup, I don't anymore...so I don't bother buying it or putting it on my food.
What! You don't like ketchup? That is the lowest of the lows. I burn all of my Dallas paraphernalia and will not watch or utter the Cowboys name for the rest of my life. I will also forbid my grown son from anything related to the team. s/

The Cowboys have the 8th best record in the NFL for the last 20 years. Now that’s not good enough as the goal is Super Bowls but to say “Unfortunately they are on the losing side of that ledger consistently, which goes to the larger point of them not being very good at roster construction” is disingenuous and just outright wrong.
I guess it depends on how you quantify success, it seems to me most owners/fans would quantify success as winning Super Bowls or at least getting to one or at least getting to Championship games or at very least wining playoff games.

Cowboys report card for the last 20 years on those measures of success:

Winning Super Bowl = 0 last on 1996
Getting to Super Bowl = 0 last one 1996
Championship Games = 0 last one 1996
Playoff Game Wins = 4 have a losing record 4 and 9.

So if winning regular season games is your measure of success (I think it is Jerry's) have at it you have a right to that opinion.

But for me it is getting too and having success in the playoffs.

Any GM in the league would have been fired a long time ago for lack of playoff success and the roster construction that caused the lack of success in the playoffs.

So yes I would say the Jones have not been very good at roster construction to achieve playoff success..

Cmon, don't deny your son the Cowboys Cheerleaders! Imagine, me and Rockport with Pom Poms!! Lol

Finish this statement. For me I’m going to say some of you will never be positive, or happy about anything. There’s no winning for you! When the drought is over, you will find a way to poop on it somehow someway…

Look, I’ve callled out Jerry and Sons as much as anyone the last year and a half and even for the better part of three decades. But don’t be so ridiculously pompous, that when they do something decent or that makes sense, you have to drag it in the dirt a few times before you’re Alishasatisfied that enough of you’re type of company is on the same page. Misery loves company!!!

We’ve been begging for this type of off-season for a lot of years. It’s been nonexistent. Most of you here either didn’t take economics, or didn’t do well in any type of applied mathematics, so you don’t understand the math behind the scenes. You gripe about everything because you have a lack of understanding. Theres no hope for this group. With what the FO has to work with, and what they must accomplish this off-season, they have actually done a good job so far in 25’. If you can’t say that now, you will have no right to change your tune , if the moves they have made this offseason prove to be successful!

My point with all of this is even if you are a hopeless fan, there can be days where you have to admit some decisions they make are a win for the team. You don’t have to continue the negativity to the point where you look like the person you’re claiming you hate! There will be plenty of reasons to do that later. Be happy when they actually do a good thing!!!
I had been positive for 50 years - Jerry and Dak took it from me......

Why did Dak take it from you?
You saw what happened to the great Mahomes, he got buried by the Eagles
That’s what happens to Prescott. We don’t have half the team Kansas City has. But look how many games he has won with half the weapons. so actually in my opinion he’s way over achieved.
And didn’t Jerry put three rings in the trophy case

It's gotten to the point of having to request entry into the positivity forum to those most wise positivity gatekeepers.
How dare thee utter such a critique!

Freakin' children.

No, he did not. Learn your History.

You’ve been miserable since 1996 who are you kidding. Lol.

I know, can you imagine the hypocrisy
I'm not a negativity gatekeeper.

I just live in a more results based football world of onfield accomplishments.

With the same ruling characters remaining in their roles for this team, I guess you could say I temper my enthusiasm until I witness onfield change.
