even if Romo has a bad game and we lose which i dont see happening...we dont just have an ok quarterback...we dont just have a good quarterback...people we have stuck quarterback GOLD! DO YOU PEOPLE REALIZE THAT YET? This type of thing doesnt happen much for any team much less three times in 30 years! Can you believe it???????????????unbelievable...mark it down...tony romo is a probowler....next year...and years to come...he isnt going to drop off...i told everyone he was the future a few years ago and now its happening...but i didnt know he would be this good! AND THE JURY ISNT OUT ANYMORE IT'S BACK IN...AND THEY SAY HE IS THIS GOOD!

I know we are all fans and when we saw how good we were with ROMO everyone was pushing for the superbowl but you all forgot one thing....we are the youngest team in NFL that went as far as we did...meaning players in crucial spots with as little experience as we had...all we have my friends is upside...these wont be the same players that come back next year in training camp...they will be bigger, stronger, faster, more experienced and you will see the upside...

Name one team that is in the playoffs with 5 starters on defense that either a rookie or a 2nd year player...and then when you find one see if they have three more of those type of players that come in on the nickel! ratliff, hatcher, and burnett!

You wont find one...None of you guys realize how good our D will be pretty soon...Roy is going to lose weight and Bradie will have to learn how to cover or get cut...once that happens and we get another 6 months down the road you are going to see some dominate players....You will see...Mark it down!

Alot of young players were on offense...Jones, Barber, Romo, Hoyte, all those young receivers...Austin....we are going to get those guys better, get a few O linemen, and we will be in business next year...with or without Parcells

we had 5 players on defense starting tonight with 2 yrs or less experience,,,then on the nickel 3 more came on the field! romo, barber, jones, hoyte, crayton, will all get better too..miles austin also...what everyone is failing to realize is we had the most young players in the league playing in crucial places...we also went the farthest with the youngest guys...look around we didnt field alot of experience out there tonight in comparision to the rest of the playoff teams...that is what you can hang your hat on, they will all get better,,,with a few additions i am anticipating some serious progress next year...lets face it you cant win right away with rookie's and 2nd year players....it just doesnt happen...

Default After the season is over I dont think anyone will argue on Merriman
he's at 5.5 sacks now compared to 2 sacks for ware...and will probably hit 12 or 13...ware probably will be right around 8 again...i dont think there will be any argument that we should have drafted merriman..he is a beast...teams are worried about him and they account for him like they do for roy williams...just think if we had two players like that on our team! bad move jerrah...should have drafted the better passrusher...he is a game changer while ware is just a good player...merriman will be great if he is not already...and i dont want to hear about this zimmer bend but dont break defense...i see ware rushing ALOT AND HE JUST CANT GET THERE...BOTTOM LINE

Can someone bump the thread where this clown said we lost hosting the Superbowl in 2011 to the Pats?

Congratulations.

Have a frickin cookie.

Can I have one?

Romo Thought/Prediction I posted this in another thread and thought it deserved it's own:

I think people are making to much of the fact that Romo hasn't thrown a regular season pass. I don't see this as a legit reason he can't take over.

He's been learning, watching and performing (all be it in a controlled environment) for four years.
I can assure you we will see very quickly what he's made of. What I mean is that he will be very close to what he'll be long term almost immediately. Look at some other examples of successful guys who kind of came out of nowhere

Warner spent a few years in arena and NFL Europe and I believe one full year on St Louis' bench. He was a seasoned guy who knew the system. He wasn't a rookie. He was exceptional from the first drive. He was no better in week 4 week 8 or week 16. He had "it".

Delhome spent three years with very little to no actual playing experience. He was as good in his first start for Carolina as he is today. Good comparable to Romo. He has "it"

Brady took over for Bledsoe in week 3 or 4 in his second year. He did get better over his first season. There was upward curve for him, but he was only a second year player and still very good from day one. Obviously he has "IT" sqaured.

I think Romo the next guy. He's not a rookie! Including him in this group is not going to sound so silly fairly soon. I believe he has "it". I love the way the ball comes off his hand. He's smooth, accurate, calm, confident. To me he seemed to make alot of quick and good reads, pre-snap and post-snap. Just seemed like he knew where he wanted to throw it quickly and always seemed to be right. Even though he seemed to be so technically precise, he wasn't mechanical he showed the ability to improvise.
I felt like I was watching something special. I see some Montana in his game.

Let me just say this. I was a Henson guy. Believed in him, wanted him to do well. I'm talking to a freind in the third quarter of our second preseaon game. You guys should remember this game, we all wanted Bledsoe to do well to kill any QB debate. Bledsoe was exceptional that first half. Romo comes in the 3rd Quarter and still upstages him! This friend is complaining because Henson wasn't getting in. Coming into that game I wanted to see Henson, but by that time I didn't want Romo to come out! I was converted and not the least bit dissapointed when they cut Henson two days latter.

I like Bledsoe, nice guy had some real nice moments for us last year. I've defended him and still see a lot of positives in his game. But I think Romo is an upgrade, it's his time.

Is there anything more pathetic than starting a thread trying to pat your own back?

Well, yes. I guess there is. Being made to look like a knucklehead in the same thread.

Woof.
