1. I hate to lose as much as anyone, but I refuse to get mad at the team because I have done nothing to earn the right except sit on my butt and watch them play an awful game. They worked hard all year and I've done nothing. I'm disappointed but refuse to be mad about anything out of my control.
2. I was not ready to crown them champs after one win, why cancel the season after one loss.
3. We open the season 1-1 having played road games on each coast; not easy to do.
4. Home-field is an advantage.
5. This weeks game is no more important than it was before we lost--a home game will be fun and we can win this if we eliminate the turnovers.
6. Some on this board have touted this coaching staff as one of the best. It's time to prove that if it's true. They were out-coached last Sunday.

Well they have to get on to Tampa Bay, but the film from Seattle could be a training film on how not to play and motivational -since watching it over and over again should light a fire under their buts.

This is what should happen, but it never does.

I somewhat agree however I think the importance of the next game coming off a loss is pretty important. Back to back loses really can have a big mental impact on any team.

Actually you help to pay their salaries by sitting on your butt WATCHING those games. If anything...they owe it to you to put a better product out there for you to view and give ratings. The fans control everything...they just don't know it. Your the paying customer not them.

Good points.....but I think its the WAY the Cowboys lost that disturbs some, including me. We've seen this movie before and it didn't have a good ending. Let's just say we hit an iceberg in Seattle and the ship will eventually fill up with water and sink somewhere down the schedule.

Sports is so big now. There is so much money involved. In theory fans have some influence but not near as much as you think.

^^^This. Of course we are not going to go 16-0. It's not about the fact we lost...its abotu HOW we lost. As I stated in another thread...we scored the fewest points in the NFL this week...and without looking...was a 3 TD loss the largest margin of victory this week? I mean it's not like we were playing the 2007 Pats. We lost by 3 TDs to an up and coming team with a 3rd round pick rookie QB. If we were good enough to beat the reigning Super Bowl champs...we were good enough to do better than a 3 TD loss to an up and coming squad. From the coaches down to the players...we were not ready to play. And that is even more disturbing when you consider we had 10 days to prepare for them and we are only in week 2. I mean this was not during the dog days of the season...this was week 2!!!!!!

I get more mad about how TV and $ are ruining the game--so many stoppages of play to show commercials

If you purchase their products, then in my opinion you are "vested". I have many of their products. Think of each item as a "stock" in the team. Where do you think the money goes?

I personally dont think the frustration and tone of the site is about the loss as much as it is about the preparedness, execution and effort. Its about watching the offensive line get whipped over and over by a 4 man rush. The whole field shrinks when teams can stop your run with their front 7 and generate heat with 4 rushers. The way Free and Smith are playing has to be concerning.

Both JG or RR out coached, again! I think the people who keep saying its one loss are the ones who are kidding themselves, not the ones upset by more of the same.
