Some pics from my first ever trip to Dallas

Good stuff Cajun! I've been there to see 8 games and definitely want to get back to Texas stadium before it gets leveled.......:(

Thanks for the pics. It looked like you had a great time. I can't wait to do that once the new stadium opens.

Preston looked great! I would still like to ask Preston why didn't he get out of bounds in the last 30 seconds of SB X when we were out of time outs and only down 4 points and had the ball at the Steeler 38 yard line.
That's always bugged me! Of course, he'd probably punch me! :laugh2:

Why is that, are you a big fan of punters?

(Though I he is one of our best players position for position)
Isn't everyone? Mat's a stud. Much more than that guy Ware.

I am using the Corral for the Phil game. Can't wait as it sounds like a great package. You mentioned going out Friday night, did they supply tranportation? Any other tips regarding the corral and what to bring/expect?

Did the exact same things a few years back for the Commanders game. Excellent time. Preston let me wear his ring for a pic also!

I rented a car for the Friday when we got there. I have the name and number of a girl at Enterprise who got me a rate of 19.99 for the day and unlimited miles. That's a heck of a deal in Dallas. If you are interested PM me and I will give it to you.

They supply transportation to all their events, Game, stadium tour, barbecue etc.

You will be extremely happy.

Which package did you get, and how were the seats

5 Star package. Section 1 End Zone. At first I wasn't sure about the seats but when the game started I was real happy. Romo's Rushing TD was there and TO's one handed grab was right in front of us.

It really was superb.

Only reason I did the 5 star was because I don't drink and the other package included some drink coupons and something like that. Plus it was at the Grapevine resort.

Just an FYI that I forgot earlier, if you do go to a Home game and the Cowboys win, pick up the Dallas Morning News the next day. They have a whole section dedicated to the game and it would be a nice keepsake of your trip.

Oh Hos, btw, on Monday when we went for the stadium tour it was pouring rain, as you can see but I wasn't going to let that stop me from heading out on to the field and play around. There was a good size group of folks out there and everyone was trying to kick Field Goals so in honor of you I took my turn. I was the first one to nail it, dead center from 35 yards. I know how much you love kickers and my first thought, I wish Hos was here! :D
I might have tackled ya.

Good for you.

Hotel

We stayed at the embassy suites and made all the arrangements through the Cowboys Corral. They are a great organization and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to take in a home game for the Cowboys. They were first class all the way and a great bunch of people. Cowboydan, one of our fellow Zoners works for them and I'm sure he can give info but here is their website.

We had an absolute blast and it was a trip I will never forget.
Hey! My wife and family stayed in that same hotel like a month ago, for no apparent reason BTW since we live 15 mins from it - Outstanding pics, you are lucky to have been in that locker room. Dang

If you are into history, do Deely plaza and the sixth floor museum. It is really eerie to be in the same place Oswald was when he shot Kennedy and walk the grassy knoll.

are you SUUUUURE? ;)

Nice pics

One tip though, you should wear your football jersey outside your pants, not inside.

I'm too fat for that. I look 8 months pregnant when I do, as opposed to 4 1/2 months. :D

Pretty sure. We figured the guy on the grassy knoll missed anyway and the guy in the sewer hit the car. We did ballistic tests as well and they were inconclusive. :p:
