I have been updating Ware and Witten all season. I thought I'd give you some updates on other players.

First of all Tony Romo bumped Quincy Carter from the 10th spot for most yards passing in a season. If he throws for 300 yards on Sunday against the Giants, he will move all the way up to 5th and be 14 yards behind 4th place with 3 games still to play. He may not catch his top 2 seasons, but he almost assuredly will move past Danny White at 3rd as he is only 655 yards from that mark where he sits right now.

Staying with Tony for now. He has 22 TDs on the season. He is only 7 from 2nd place all time trailing his own team record of 36. Doubt he can hit that in 4 games, but if he did he would move ahead of Roger Staubach for 3rd on our all time list. He is also probably going to be in the top 10 in pass attempts and completions by the end of this next game. He will absolutely end up with one of the top 10 QB ratings in our History.

25 more passing yards and he passes 20,000 for his career.

Moving on to DeMarco Murray. He is now 128 yards from 1000 for the season. The Cowboys rookie record is well within reach. A place in the top 10 is less likely. He needs 454 yards in 4 games to do that. Not impossible, but not easy either.

Jason Witten would need 39 receptions to reach 100 for the season. That will not happen, but I give you the update anyway. He is only 2 receptions behind Steve Smith, who is also active on the all time list. If he gets 20 receptions, a very likely possibility given he averages 5 per game, he will tie his own top 10 season. 22 receptions would take him to 700 for his amazing career.

DeMarcus Ware only needs 1 sack to pass his 15.5 last year for 2nd place on our all time seasons list. Of course if he gets 5 more he will become the first player in NFL History to have two 20 sack seasons. A big game could put him back within reach of the NFL record. I am hoping he does hit the 20 mark at the very least. As was noted in another thread, he is now the Cowboys "Official" all time sack leader. The unofficial leader is still The Beautiful Harvey Martin.

Dan Bailey has 115 points on the season. He is only 5 points from knocking his Coach, Chris Boniol, out of the top 10. At his current scoring pace he could actually catch Emmitt Smith for #1 all time at 150 points in one season. Emmitt also holds the #2 spot at 132 points. It seems that at the very least he will surpass that mark. Unless we hit scoring stall and he continues to miss. I don't see that happening.

I think Fiammetta will help Murray out tremendously and he will get close to the 454 yards needed if not pass it. He makes giant holes for Murray to run through.

Broaddus said Fiammetta's strength was picking up the slack when a lineman misses his assignment and blocks the most dangerous man that can initially stall the run. That gives Murray that extra split second to find a seam and hit for a few more yards.
