Josh Evans- FS, Florida- Little talked about guy that was overshadowed by Matt Elam. Evans did his job extremely well at Florida and allowed Elam to be the free roam safety to play all over the field. Very good in coverage with good overall athleticism (4.58 40, 34" vert, 4.1 shuttle). A little on the thin side but isn't afraid to tackle and attack the line of scrimmage. I think Evans definitely has a shot to be a good deep coverage zone FS. Here's some pretty good game footage of him against Georgia http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPErIZss3Nc

Lavar Edwards- DE, LSU- Never really found a fit at LSU and was moved all over the D. Was used everywhere from DE, DT to OLB and was never able to find a consistent starting spot for very long. Very good size (6'4 275) with long arms and very good strength to push o lineman back. Fits the mold of strong side DE to set the edge and stuff the run. Also has a enough of a quick burst and bend to get around the OT and rush the passer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWqheZP-rHI

Sanders Commings- CB/S, Georgia- Big CB (6' 215) with 4.4 speed. Played some safety as well in college along with a lot of zone so the transition to FS for us probably wouldn't be a problem. Physical coverage guy who likes to get his hands on the WR he's covering. Not the greatest tackler, would definitely have to improve his technique. The size, speed, and coverage ability is very intriguing for a FS though.

Keith Pough- LB, Howard- Probably the best defensive player in all of D2. Great wrap up tackler and strong against the run. Ran a bad time at the combine, but that is very misleading if you watch the tape. Great in pursuit, often chasing down RB's from across the field to make the tackle. I see him as a great fit at SLB because of his tackling ability and speed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoeIqAnpL74

Agree on these two. Cowboys love long armed athletic D Linemen from the SEC. Th Georgia DB I could see being available late.

Don't know much about the first two.

Commings I hear widely conflicting things about him. including that he can't play zone well. There are character concerns with Commings too. Pough I just hear is pretty much an overachiever type.

If I am looking at a CB to FS convert my favorite ATM is Melvin White of Louisiana-Lafayette.
