- Two edge players that are very interesting for the Cowboys are TJ Parker and Dani Dennis Sutton. Suttons bend is elite with a 6.9 3 cone and has good production at a Power 5. Parker had an oustanding 1.6 10 yard split, and fits a strong side edge in an odd front well. Parkers 2024 VS 2025 tape needs to really be looked. Was elite in 2024 and struggled in 2025.
- It was interesting that they interviewed so many DT's. Most is not all over 320 lbs. Fangio's scheme does use a 0T NT, but not all the time. Caleb Banks is very interesting because at 6'6 he is probably more a 5T/4i than a 0T. I could see the Cowboys looking to add size on the DL, possibly even early
- With Styles looking to be out of range, Rodriguez positioned himself to be a candidate at 20 well. The size concerns were awnsered at the Senior Bowl, and he awnsered the athleticism questions at the combine
- Let see if rubber meets road with Parkers "Instincts over Measurables" matra when Downs is on the board at 12. There isnt going to be a more impactful player available at 12. Maybe Bain, but thats debatable
- Jermod McCoy is still an enigma, but he is still a betting favorite at 12 to me. Him not participating in the combine wasnt weird to me, it was saying he didn't feel ready. Most likely I think thats agent speak though. I have a hard time seeing both Downs and McCoy gone at 12
- WR performance= bad news. Freeling's= great news. He could easily push into the top 10. On top of that there is talk of Simpson rising as well. I wouldn't hate take Freeling at 12 as long as we have a robust FA period
-Guys like Cisse and Hood are why you pay Parker. Good prospects a strong coach can make into great players. If you max them out, both are strong #1 CB's
- I think Jalon Kilgore is going to rise alot over the next two months. Good tape at both S and slot CB at a Power 5, a good Senior Bowl and strong combine performance. Not as versitile at S as Theineman right now, because doesnt have as much experience as a deep S. But he is better in the box and in the slot. Was a slot CB in 2024. He is a strong Cowboy fit
