Maybe you guys can help me out?

1. If they always intended to sign Dak and Lamb why did they wait until the worst possible time when free agency dried up?

2. Why did you trade for Lance? You traded for a 3rd stringer…

3. So the team who has Jordah Mason and the best running back in the league…felt the need to draft a running back with our 4th rounder….then he proceeded to run down our throats…why did you not draft a running back?

4. Two rookies on the OL with a washed Martin and a never was in Steele. This was gonna improve the line?

5. Why is Mike not fired? So let me get this straight the team collapses to the Packers and lose by 50…and how do you improve the team? You don’t? You set Mike up to fail. Why? Ego? Why did you not fire him when you clearly didn’t want him? You have him coach on a one year deal so no actual good coordinator would come here because they know there’s no future…..

I think all these questions are connected. We knew this front office was incompetent. But I don’t think this is some solid unit. I suspect there’s division amongst McClay, Jerry and Stephen. They are not on the same page and that’s why they can’t contend or even tank effectively.

This is the easiest quiz I have ever taken
1. JJ
2. JJ
3. JJ
4. JJ
5. JJ
I’m gonna be honest….im questioning if it’s Jerry. Old Jerry would’ve signed Henry. Stephen wouldn’t have. I’m wondering where Stephen falls into this. We only hear about the good things Stephen does like the Zack Martin pick. Am I to believe he never gives bad advice?

this team is so devoid of talent in so many areas, as you outlined. lets not forget the mess that's the DL, despite overshown playing well, the LB is weak. the secondary is a mess and Diggs and his millions can't make a dang tackle.

this is what happens to a team that doesn't spend in FA and holds on to players to the end of their contract so they can avoid dead cap (paying twice for the same position). then you have to really bad drafts, despite what everyone wants to say, they were bad drafts....and you end up with this mess.

not sure at what point jerry stop trying to spin things...because he can't.

The last DFW team to win a championship was the 2023 Rangers . And you wouldn’t recognize the owners if you bumped into them . They hired a GM that GM hired a manager .

No radio shows no shots of them in the suite yukking it up no sons or daughters in the background to kiss the ring . Businessmen who hire people to run the business what a concept .

Any competent GM would have made the under performing & declining QB play out his contract and thus had a viable path to truly reset the organization at the end of the season.

You could have moved on from so many people after this season & had good draft position to work with. Instead, he proves he's clueless about proper management of a football team.

Tours of where you prepare for the next game . While you’re pumping weights or in meetings people banging on the glass . Does that revenue stream really seem necessary.

The spin is liking me. Why does he feel the need to lie or try to spin things?

I’m not gonna fault them for signing Dak because I knew they would. But to sign then when they did was moronic. All they care about is comp picks and carrying salary over.

Signing a bad player is bad no matter "when" you do it.

When that player is a QB & you make him the highest paid in history, there aren't any words to describe that level of incompetence.

They didn’t sign a bad player knowingly. They literally signed an all pro. If they let an all pro quarterback go in the prime of his career that would’ve been incompetent. I don’t think it’s ever been done. When has a team let a all pro walk at qb?

I don’t understand Jerry. I thought during the offseason when he refused to extend the coaching staff and sign Dak/CeeDee to extensions he was taking a stand with the players saying I want Super Bowls then I will pay you. I assumed bringing in Lance was hedging your bets in case Dak decides to leave in free agency in 2025 you would at least have a young quarterback that is athletic to replace him. Then Jerry caves and sign Dak/CeeDee to record breaking contracts but the Cowboys don’t use the cap savings to fortify the roster. So they waste a 4th pick on a lottery ticket that is worthless because you now are committed to Dak. Jones is a smart business man so what it’s telling me is the Joneses just want the Cowboys to be relevant. They had a chance at a prove or lose it year that would have actually put more eyes on the Cowboys in my opinion. Then if we suck like we played so far we can make some trades and get draft capital for pending free agents Dak and CeeDee. If Dak sees the righting on the wall he would lift his no trade clause. Between Dak and CeeDee we could have received multiple high draft picks. Then we could have full rebuild in 2025 with Parsons in the back waiting in the wings for the Cowboys to trade him to the highest bidder. Jerry messed it up and we fans need to hold him accountable.

But he's not an All Pro. They had 8 years to figure that out. Letting him go would have been equal to or greater than Jimmy's trade in reverse. We could have gotten better while making someone else way worse.
