1) After we blew the 4th down play on the goal line, Burnett blew up Westbrook's run and almost caused a safety.
2) On the play where Philly's TE LJ Smith makes a catch for 15 yards(approx.) and turns his ankle, Ware didn't get a good jam on him at the line, so he had good timing with McNabb. Ware has got to get a better jam on these receivers before releasing them.
3) Ware is much quicker coming off the edge as a stand up LB than a DE.
4) I still don't think that was a legit 2nd TD by Glenn.
5) Raitliff had a great game. He was even able to split a dbl team block and flush McNabb out after collapsing the pocket. He got 1/2 a sack and was a split sec away from getting two others. He really benefited from our use of the 4-3 when we weren't in nickle.
6) Bradie James consistently played well in coverage. Never looked lost. And was decisive when filling the hole. He may have turned the corner.
7) RB Anthony Thomas made good blitz pickup by cutting LBs and putting them down on the ground. TT would play on 1st and 2nd downs during the 2nd half, and on 3rd down A-Train would come in to pick up blitzers.
8) FS Davis bit on an out and up move by Westbrook, and it should have been a 75 yd TD for Philly, but Westbrook dropped the ball.
9) Obogue had a great bullrush and pancake on OLT during Newman's sack.
10) Roy was an enforcer, constantly cutting players legs out from under them and bringing them down solo.
11) You could tell BP was telling Drew dont take any chances during the final min of the 1st half. He was really adament about it. He was like we're going to throw it but pleaseeeeeeee Drew don't throw an int. I guess his conservative nature was rearing its ugly head.
12) Witten almost cost us that FG at the end of the half, when on 3rd down with 18 sec. he tried to get more yardage instead of getting out of bounds. If he would've been tackled in bounds it would have been 4th down, and not enough time to get our FG unit on the field. Luckily, he was pushed out of bounds.
13) JJ's ankle didn't turn when he got fell on. If the ankle turns it helps relieve the pressure from the upper calf. This is going to be the dreaded "HIGH" ankle sprain. It lingers a lot longer than the more common ankle sprain. However, JJ was standing on it throughout the 2nd half so he won't miss any time. But his cutting ability may be hampered until after the bye.
14) Pierce played great on ST, he made several tackles. He was a demon.
15) I love Drew's audible, "KILL!, KILL!, KILL!" With the throat slash hand movement. You gotta love that!
16) Deep snapper was great. Every snap was right on the money.
17) Crayton & TT are a big play and/or fumble waiting to happen. You really have to limit theyre touches, since the more they touch it the more likely it is they will turn it over.
18) Our DL depth is going to be a major factor come playoff time. Our guys play hard because they're always fresh. It's just like in Jimmy's day when we had our superior DL rotation that caused opponents fits.
19) Rob Petite: "I'd want to be stuck on a deserted island with BP." Why, when you have all those Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders to choose from?
20) It's obivous that Philly doesn't care about McNabb. They kept putting him out there, when the game was out of reach, and he was obviously to injured to compete. The funny thing is that the boys were more concerned about him than Andy Reid. Every time they knocked him down, they would offer him a hand up. On the Roy William's sack, Roy is getting up slowly, and there are three cowboys offering to help McNabb up, and no one offers Roy a hand up, and he just got the sack!
21) It's funny watching KJ blow up at Drew. Then he runs to BP, like a kid running to his daddy to tell his side of the story. BP understands KJ though, he lets KJ have his say until BP has had enough then he yells at KJ and tells him to shut up, then he pats KJ on the thigh and says "alright that's enough, lets go!" (ie. stay focused, get your head back in the game).
22) It was funny watching LA get excited during those big 4th quarter runs by TT. LA was pumping his fist in the air, I guess he was having a good time whipping on those Philly D-linemen.
