If Mason Graham falls to 12
You thank your lucky stars and run that card with his name up there.

Almost like forcing football players to use a very specific track stance that they will never use while playing football doesn’t make sense…Interestingly, Golden's top speed at 23.57 which was 7th best but he had the best 10 yd split at 1.49 seconds. Isaiah Bond ran a 4.39 but had the 2nd best top speed at 24.17. His 10 yd time was 1.51. It seems like bond has a higher top speed but a slower get off, while Golden hits his top speed quicker. If I was looking for a WR to stretch the field, I would choose Bond over Golden. Perhaps Golden would make a better slot guy running intermediate routes.
+1.......So trueI really like what Daniel Jeremiah said about this draft. It is not a start draft, it is a starters draft. There aren't many future HoF players in this draft but there are a lot of solid guys who can start in the NFL. It is a good draft to have a lot of picks to fill a depleted roster. The Cowboys just have to be smart. I would take the player who would make the biggest impact in the first round and then start filling holes with the next 9 picks. trading down and picking up extra picks might work out well too.

I am surprised about the quality in the offensive line. I just want to see both sides address and running back of course. However that comes out-Matthew Golden is my new #1 WR. 6 feet and 4.3 with SEC production. Cowboys have shown interest as well.
-Pierce is clearly the #2 Edge now in this class, Green's stock has taken a hit with those sexual assault allegations.
-Graham not testing, short arms and 25lbs lighter has him falling, but how far? Nolen's character issues could do the same.
-Harmon to me is the best DT that has emerged post combine. Strong testing and physical attributes.
-Will Johnson's stock took a hit with his lack of length, speed was already an issue.
-Hampton will not get out of the 1st rd, but Judkins might now be the back to target over Johnson from Iowa. Giddens the former KState back also had a good 40 time that makes him a late day 2 target.
-I maybe in the minority but Campbell the linebacker scares me to death with his lack of instincts. Schwesinger is my target.
-Emmamori is going to be a 1st rd pick now after that elite testing
-I really believe those prospects who refused to test with hurt their stock. Teams want competitive players not ones scared to compete under same conditions.
They benefit from other teams misevaluating players. Letting really solid players fall in their laps & they are more than happy to scoop them up.The Ravens, Bills, and Chiefs do it all the time.......drafting near the bottom but always getting good players.
How many times we have seen players selected in the bottom 4-5 of the 1st round and wonder how they fell that far? Like you say, you can take more risk near the bottom. They benefit from other teams misevaluating players. Letting really solid players fall in their laps & they are more than happy to scoop them up.
If the Ravens take a player that surprises me, I automatically question my thoughts about the player. They don't many mistakes & they know what they want the player to do. Players work for them that wouldn't work out for a lot of teams.
Really think OL is more about development this season, but front 7 on defense is where I think they look for roster upgrades.I am surprised about the quality in the offensive line. I just want to see both sides address and running back of course. However that comes out
Coaches and college schemes certainly can affect a player's stock. We see many weird alignments on that level cause it is a different type of game and different field.Besides there are other factors to consider for the college WRs........QBs, playcalling, offensive system. Some will be better pros and college and vice versa. For a good example, Deion was determined to make sure Shedeur shined. Everything Colorado offense was centered around pumping Shedeur .......NFL OC, play calling, 2-3 three WR set. In fact, I have no idea who was their running back.
The point is college coaches have so much control over how much certain players will shine/produce. It's why the transfer portal now most effective tool for college players.
Here's the type of strategy speaking about earlier........not sure these would be my selections but having extra 2nd and 3rd rounders and still getting a good player at 25.I really like what Daniel Jeremiah said about this draft. Nolan not testing is interesting. After a very strong Senior Bowl week he had the chance to move into the top 10 of this draft with a strong combine. Im not really out on him, but I like Harmon more now. Harmon has the tape and production to back up his measurables-Matthew Golden is my new #1 WR. 6 feet and 4.3 with SEC production. Folks are trippin if they think Graham’s weight and arms are going to drop him.Nolan not testing is interesting. Grahams length more than his weight give me some pause, but he is a player. I don't think it hurts him much. Didnt hurt Kancy in 2023 when his arms measured 30"
I think they were hoping for a big 3T. We have been fetishizing bulk ever since the days of the 3-4Folks are trippin if they think Graham’s weight and arms are going to drop him.
It’s not like he weighed in at 280 lbs and has 30” arms. He’s 296 lbs with 32” arms and demonstrated production/play against quality opponents.
He’s a disruptive 3-tech. I guess folks were miscasting him as a NT.
I would like a couple more inches in length (Ill leave that one for you), but its not a prospect killerFolks are trippin if they think Graham’s weight and arms are going to drop him.
