- Id like to see Cooks back for 1 more. I think we need to upgrade the #3 spot. Gallup isnt getting it done. I think its in the table in the top 60 of the draft. 3rd maybe, but if thats the case having a vet there is important. Not impressed with Tolbert this year, but Ill give him another year. I can see Brooks overtaking him for the 4th WR spot
- What to do with Biadasz is going to be big this offseason. He is a FA, so he either needs to be signed or replaced. If he is costing Pro Bowl OC money, then no. He hasnt had as strong a season as 2022. Wouldnt hate signing him to a top 15 OC contract if that was doable. He is an "at least we have Tyler Biadasz" kind of player. There are some potential draftees that would be instant upgrades (Van Pran), but you at first rounders or top 60 guys. Im a positional value guy, but Im gonna thumb my nose at it considering how much Frederick instantly improved our line. Van Pran reminds me of prime Markice Pouncey
-A future LT is where Id like to spend our top draft capital. Very deep draft in LT talent, and we could possibly draft a potential Pro Bowl LT in the first without trading up. Thats rare. They could come in and compete with Steele at RT. However, even in the first, considering the importance of LT's I wouldn't hate the idea of them sitting. Smith will get hurt at some point.
- Good chance we lose both Armstrong and Fowler. DE is going to be a sneaky need. Lawrence is a possible cut sometime in the next couple years, but I wouldn't be shocked if they work something out contractually.
- 2nd round could be a good HB spot this draft. Ar least one of Brooks, Benson and Corum should be there. Any of those three walk in as a lead back. A vet that would be a solid add is Damian Harris. Solid north/south power runner who is good at the goal line. He is making the vet min or close (2m+) in Buffalo. At that price, he would be a solid #2. Frank Gore's kid is in this draft. God I am getting old
- I think LB would be a better vet add than a spot you hope to fill in the draft. Not saying we shouldn't draft one, but its a spot you should be able to upgrade in FA without a big tag
- It will be interesting to see what they do at CB. They could bring Gilmore back. It would be cool to see him close out a storied career here, especially if he can maintain his 2023 play. That puts Bland in the slot though, and he is stronger outside. It can be done without creating a weakness in the slot though. If Gilmore isnt the plan, a more slot oriented player would fit. A name I like is Kristian Fulton. 2024 FA we had some interest in 2020. Strong first two seasons where he played both outside and slot (2021 was Pro Bowl caliber), but has strugged the last two seasons playing primarily outside. I think you can get him on an Anthony Brown level contract, Awuzie at most. That would be a solid move, and there is still a good amount of youth there
