Some teams break camp on Thursday

The Eagles break camp this Thursday, 8/11. Does that seem strange to anyone? It feels like we're just getting started, they started their camp after us, and they're already breaking camp.

Might that be a good idea to avoid injuries? It seems that since players stay in such good shape throughout the off-season, these long camps may no longer be necessary. The Cowboys don't break camp until Sunday, 8/21.

The way I look at that is: The Eagles gameplan seemed to work just fine last year. Ours.....well.......not so much. We probably need a little more work than they do, as long as their new guys know what's going on, why should they practice anymore than they have to. As for us, well, we need all we can get. Not cuz we suck, but because we have a lot of changes around here this year, and it takes more than a week and a half to iron out the kinks.

Well i think Camp cant'be be longer than 2 weeks but there is no specifc on the length and with one of there starters going down, and not really bringing in new people or new schemes they dont need to have a long camp, as we do.

Eagles probably have more/larger facilities, Parcells said he preferred to stay home but we don't have the space to do all they need.

Tobal is correct. The Eagles have the super-whiz-bang NovaCare complex so they only spend a couple weeks up at Lehigh.
