1. Tampa stacked the box, and Dak lit them up for 403 yards and 3 TDs. LAC played two high safeties, and Zeke and Pollard combined for 180 yards and 2 TDs on the ground. This offense can find success in a variety of ways

2. The defense has forced 6 turnovers in 2 games. Overall, they look scrappy and gritty and competitive. The rookies look great with Micah and Osa looking like absolute studs. Quinn’s work is yielding positive results this far— and that is with some key pieces hurt

3. Special teams are off to a terrible start overall. Missed kicks cost us in week one. Bad penalties and poor playcalls nearly cost us the game in week 2. Great kick from Greg to win the game— but man, Fassel looks like bad hire and there is a lot to clean up in this unit

4. McCarthy’s game management looks bad… sloppy, and unprepared for pressure moments. Moore has looked good thus far— though there were a couple of calls yesterday where he got cute and put us behind the chains. Quinn and Moore keep this staff afloat

3 home games and then a road game to NE before the bye week. All 4 of these games are winnable. Will be interesting to see how they respond to the opportunity in front of them, after a gutsy showing against the champs, and now a big team win in LA

Many of us here might do well to be patient and appreciate the fact that this team and their defense has come a long way toward improving. There will be adjustments pending, no doubt, but it all takes time to make things ideally workable. Let's hope things continue to improve, with additional time and work to make it even better. Hopefully, McCarthy's imperfections will be attended to by himself and his staff. If not, it'll be something that's ongoing to address. o_O

3 issues after 2 games. We are still very sketchy on the interior of the dline. ...and the pass rush needs 2 get better.Third thing is we are a dumb FB team defensively with the avoidable penalties. THE OFFENSE IS GREAT. Play calling has been lights out. MM while imperfect has been much better than what we saw in 2020.

Moore's game planning has been really impressive.

Game 1 he plans to negate TB's run defense and stunned their defense.

Game 2 he game planned around Bosa a totally negated his presence.

Really smart planning.

Agree… the only thing I disliked yesterday were the two bubble screens that got blown up. Thought we were looking so good pounding the rock— it was just too cutesy.

One of them lost 4 yards and resulted in a 3rd and 9 and that led to Dak getting sacked and knocked us out of FG range.

To me, it was that playcall on 2nd and 5 that did it. Kellen opts for a more complex gimmicky play at times, instead of just mashing. We had worn down that D and they were gassed. We needed points on that drive— and he cost us IMO

Dak Prescott - 237 yards / 0 TD's in a win....... he didn't play great, but its a win, and that's acceptable. We don't have to have all these crazy stats his homers pound their chests over, and this game is proof.

I think Quinn has a good hire and his guys from ATL along with Parsons have been impressive.

We'll see how the year processes but Neal and Kazee look like good players
Kazee is always where he should be. Smart player. Hooker had a nice tackle for a loss.Diggs takes 2 many bad angles..He's great..but needs 2 clean that up.

Dak's been doing really well, although, his passes in the flat are done with hesitation. He sorely needs to speed that up for it to work!

Finally winning a close game gives them confidence. It's also nice that they found their run game, pick your poison. Teams will going to try to make Dak beat them, which only makes it easier to get big plays down the field. Defense has to get off the field more on third down.

I would love the same one-two punch running game........Zeke AND Pollard were excellent. We could see the first TWO 1000 yard runnings backs in a season.

Game ball to Moore, his calls were fine most of the time, but too many of the throws parallel to the los, with no blocking, Wilson's big run was huge in this game but you can't count on doing that consistently.

Wonder if the plan going forward is like in this game, run Zeke inside and Pollard outside? Might be just this one game, we'll see.
