Who is are best KR at this point?

I still think it's Tyson when healthy. He is just so damned fast he gives us good field position even with no wiggle.

Do you believe Pat Watkins will be starting come Sept?

I would say yes. People are way to hard on him. He was a late round rookie and I think he has all the skills to be a very good player for a long time. All he lacks is PT. If not for the 1st game against the Eagles I think people would think different of him.

Will James be a player for us this year or not?

He is GREAT against the run but his hips are so stiff and he's so slow that he struggles in pass coverage and thus will again give up big plays this year. I expect him to step up his game, and play well.... 7 out of 10 under Wade.

RW?

Fans say he can't cover and he is overrated. I think he has been playing out of place or scheme his entire career except for one. The one year he didn't he was the best SS's in the NFL. If Pat steps up, under Wade, he will claim his crown as one of the best SS to ever play.

I wanna see Pat Mcquisten play, Flo is good but is getting long in the tooth. I hope we see him play extensively in the preseason.

We need to add a WR in the 1st or second round. Our WR's are either old or unproven. We need youth, talent and speed at this position asap. If T.O. or TG go down, our O will take a huge step back.

These two will be gone soon either way, so WR is an area of need any way you slice it.

Your thoughts?

is to trade up in the first round, and take Levi Brown. Move him to the starting left guard position, and just wait for how the offensive tackle position develops out towards next season. At the worse, Brown and Leonard Davis would be available to be moved out on each of their respective sides. If both Colombo and Flozell play up to potential, then Flozell needs a new contract, and the line is set for about four to five years...as to starters.

In the third round area, I still like the potential addition of Samson Satele....

Some good questions to start the thread off with...

KR? TT gets us good Field Position but never breaks a long one. You have to weigh the plusses and minusses there.
Watkins- I need to see him make some plays before I think he could be the answer. Untill then NO.
James- he is not a good cover LB. Frankly, unless he can show some ability to rush the passer I look for a replacement. A LB has 3 responsibilities: tackle the runner, cover the backs, rush the passer. So far James has shown only an ability to tackle the runner- if he cannot do one of the other two he is outta there.

RW- as you pointed out, the year we had Woody - a REAL good FS- Roy was a monster. THAT is what you need back there.
McQ needs more play time that I think he will get in the preseason.

THIS year I say play the young WRs and see what they have before I would use a high pick on one.

I hear you guys.

Burmafrd you and I both know we won't play our young WR's very much as long as T.O. and T.G. are around. Plus they take a while to develop so why not draft one asap?
