Remember we still have Sam Williams under contract, question is will DLaw be brought back?I guess.
Your "#3" edge is going to play a lot, regardless.

Those 4 positions are my take as well. But, I don't see us taking a RB in the first though. Probably around the 3rd-4th, unless they ignore it again. Also, having not drafted a DT in the first in 30 years and then getting burnt with Mazi, I don't think we go there in the first. This is assuming we're drafting in the 20's and dependent on who is available, but probably won't go DT.It's very early, but DT, WR, RB appear to be the top 3 needs. Edge could be as well, but let's see how Kneeland plays this season. Also, now with Dak signed, time to throw some darts at the position in hopes of finding the next Dak/Romo to develop.
I agree WR is my favorite in rd 1 at this moment, but wouldn't rule out DT or Edge, either. A runner somewhere on day 2 makes sense. Those 4 positions are my take as well. That would likely leave WR or Edge, imo. Cooks is on the last year of his contract and Tolbert is just a borderline #3.
At DE, I believe DLaw is also on the last yr of his contract and his getting up in years. Williams hasn't panned out yet and will be coming off a major injury.
Right now I'd say the odds favor WR in the first.
Running Back is a significant need, and another Wide Receiver could be just as crucial.offense: rb and og...if martin retires.
defense:dt and de.
over-all:dt and rb.
Probably, because Martin's money is going straight to Tyler Smith. If Martin decides to retire, they will likely opt for a cost-effective approach and just promote TJ Bass to his position.
