Some tidbits on CB's from Ourlads

Guys:

Ourlads has two tidbits from the combine that are interesting. One is OSR, which is an overall athletic combine rating for the position, and the other is BTR, which is backpedel, turn and run (one left and one right). Some ratings as follows:

McKelvin: OSR: 8/32, BTR: 4.5, 4.44

DRC: OSR: 1/32, BTR: 4.32, 4.24

Jenkins: OSR: 20/32, BTR: 4.62, 4.64 Note: Shows hip tightness

Talib: OSR: 7/32, BTR: 4.4, 4.45

Cason: OSR: 11/32, BTR: 4.29, 4.51

King: OSR: 6/32, BTR: 4.42, 4.51

A couple of long shots had good numbers:

Molden: OSR: 2/32, BTR: 4.5,4.53

Wheatley: OSR: 5/32, BTR: 4.31, 4.23

Scandrick: OSR: 4/32, BTR: 4.3, 4.14

Doesn't mean these guys will be good, but does show something about their athletic skills.

Does Ourlads give any specifics on how they get these numbers?

Thought Jenkins was more athletic/agile than that...

Ourlads takes the numbers from the combine results. OSR is derived from the physical tests considered most improtant for the position. For CB my best guess on tests used is: 40 time, SS, VJ, BJ, BP, and three cone. The BTR is a specific test at the combine.

What do the numbers represent? Is the OSR their ranking (ie., 8/32 would be eighth out of 32)? And is the BTR a time over a certain number of yards?
