JJ was getting 10 yard runs as well...perhaps we wouldn't have had soo many 3rd downs? Perhaps?

Down by 14 and you have a guy that was running off a couple of 10 yard runs. It was obvious that JJ had their number early on and the Saints were playing the pass.

After the score was 14-7, Jones ripped off a 10 yard run and a five yard run.

But I'm not sure running him a third time would've helped.

I think we should've involved him more in the second half.

We had a third-and-6 after runs of 0 and 4 yards by Julius.

We had a third-and-15 after a 5-yard run and a sack.

We had a third-and-6 after a 1-yard scramble and a 3-yard run.

We had a third-and-6 after a 2-yard run and an incomplete pass.

We had a third-and-8 after a run for a loss of 1 (by Barber) and a 3-yard pass.

After that, it was 42-17, and running was pointless.

So, what would you have done? Run on EVERY first and second down? That will fool them. Yes, Julius had several runs of 10-plus, but those don't put you in short-yardage situations, they give you a new first down.

Considering that more than 56 percent of all runs in the NFL gain 3 yards or less, you're going to be in third-down situations from time to time. And your quarterback has to be successful in those situations. Until tonight, Romo had been very successful on third downs. Tonight, he was pitiful.

What the hell did the Offensive coaches actually go to TO's party and just recovered by game time. I for one thought Romo played a decent game what can you ask of your QB if your defense couldn't stop a stopwatch.
