Someone explain to me why

The losses this year hurt so bad. Last year I just chilled on the couch almost expecting it. I really expected nothing great coming into this year. I thought I learned how to deal with it last year.

Are my expectations to high this year? Is it the do or die feeling I have knowing we never know who our QB will be from year to year?

A loss always suck...some worse then others....I hate this loss but I still do not think it even ranks close to many others.

Because we win against Washington (like we should have), and win against Oakland (like we should have), and win against Seattle (like we should have) means we are 7-0 and get tons of respect and are spoken about as a force in the NFC and a team to be dealt with the rest of the year and into the playoffs.

because they are on the cusp of being a good football team and they rip your heart out with horrible losses. Put in the fact that they were supposed to be 8-8 9-7 and it makes it worse.

Also cuase we have sucked for so long, and we want to see the team turn the corner so bad. This team gives us hope and we see signs of life, then we lose like this.

Speaking for myself, I have to say that I see something in this team.

I think we have the opportunity to be pretty good.

The past few seasons this has not been the case.

Now, losses always stink, but when you SHOULD win them and don't, it really hurts.

What you guys are saying makes sense but I also expected 8-8 r 7-9 last year and it still did not bother me this bad.

I try to tell myself this defense is young but then my mind combats it by pointing out how old our offense is.

Because we've been in EVERY game, and until the last seconds!! This isn't your Campo Cowboys when we were blown out regularly.

You have to learn to not get too excited about this team, even when they beat the Eagles 33-10. Until I see consistancy from the offense, and a defense that doesn't collapse with 2 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, I'm not going to get worked up about losses OR wins.

The 2 losses to Washington and Seattle should be wins. Everything has to go wrong for Dallas to lose those games and they did.

This team could have a good record(6-1) but could VERY easily be sitting with only 1 win right now. We gave up a long drive to SD that could've very easily been a loss. And at San Fran, regardless of how bad they are as a team, you dont win many games when down 12 in the 4th quarter on the road. The only good win we have is the thumping of Philly, ironically the best team on the schedule.

It just shows where we are as a team. We're not bad and we're not as good as some may think. If you're gonna play games so close, if you're a good team, you win them. You find a way. All we've done is find a way to lose.

This year reminds me of 1990. We had the look of a potentially good team but our OL held us hostage that year. We would always do something stupid to lose the game. I was really hoping we would be closer to 1992 than the 1990 team. This loss hurts bad. And to put salt into our wounds the Eagles and Giants both pull out games they should have lost. In about 15 minutes we went from first to last.

When I start figuring out our draft position after every game I know it's bad. Not to that point yet but dang close.
