Think about it: Zeke and Dak have changed. Just look at their attitudes and outlooks.
-Zeke no longer hypes the team up. Has an “ah shucks” type attitude. Not good.
-Dak is like JG. Fools around too much. No emotion. Same old same old speech week in and week out. Plays kids games on the Microsoft surface will his defense is getting their butts whooped because of his mistakes.
Both are too focused on the wrong things. They weren’t always like this...
Something happened in that locker room. Their rookie season, they did not care about money. They cared about brotherhood, having a good locker room, winning, and most of all, fun. I thought Dak was the first one in and last one out. What has happened since then? Why the sudden attitude shift?
It has happened to other players on this team as well. Amari was not like this in Oakland. He has changed as well. Like I said, it’s not just them. Everyone on that 53 man roster is the same. No one stands up for each other, no one calls other players out despite some of them deserving being called out, no one is a leader in that locker room. Everyone in that locker room shares the same selfish beliefs: it’s all about me, my money, my stats, girls, partying, my fashion and my fame. They couldn’t care less about wins. They couldn’t care less about fans. They couldn’t care less about championships and Superbowls. If you don’t see that by now, you are not seeing the full picture.
Let’s look deeper: Bennett comes in and is the only one yelling at the ineptitude of this team. During the Sounds of the Sidelines video, he is the only one trying to inspire the defense. He’s been here for what, a month? And he’s doing all the hard, heavy work. He’s been in winning locker rooms and has spotted someone or something wrong with this team. It’s not normal to be content and happy with losing. I bet he called someone out, but the players were too scared to reveal who. Hopefully Bennett reveals who he was talking about after his likely retirement.
This team wasn’t always content with losing. Even last year, after 3-5 they cleaned it up. Something has happened since then. Someone in that locker room is a cancer and a bad influence....
Edit: the cancer started since the end of last season. We turned last season around, and now all of a sudden everything has changed? How can something so devastating change in such a short amount of time?
