He's the same height and weight as m Garrett with a faster 40 time. Why isn't he at least close to him as a pass rusher? What's holding him back? He's 277 nd ran 4.58. Why not go down to 265 like d law and get quicker off the edge?

You might want to try having that third eye check at LensCrafters, takes a lot more than similar size and shape. There seems to be an obvious talent level discrepancy that you've overlooked.

Gary is what he is... a productive pass rusher averaging around 7 sacks and 50 pressures per season as long as his snap count stays at about 55%.
If it goes over then he fades like what happened last season.
He's never lived up to his combine time in college or the pros nor does he have the initial burst off the snap or the arsenal of pass rush moves of Garrett!

Lawrence combine weight was 251. He was supposedly at 258 at the beginning of camp his rookie season. They never updated his weight after his 2nd camp. Guessing he was between 270-275. And could be he was carrying too much weight leading to the multiple foot injuries!

Garrett is freaking jacked. Id be suprised if he didnt have more strength and better quick twitch. Hes just a different specimen.

Some people do more steroids than others...has nothing to do with genetics. Don't let them kid you.

That you? :D

lol, clearly white Sox announcers there making out as if poor Robin Ventura was getting dogpiled but still eventually got Nolan turned around

Didn’t mention that Nolan was punching him in the face while holding him in a headlock

Ventura and Sox fans always try to downplay it but the entire rest of the planet know it for the legendary butt whoopin’ that defined Ventura.

Good times

Google ai on robin Ventura

  • The Nolan Ryan Brawl (August 4, 1993):Ventura is perhaps most famous for charging the mound after being hit by a pitch from 46-year-old Nolan Ryan. Despite being 20 years younger, Ventura was quickly subdued in a headlock by Ryan and struck several times. This incident was voted the top baseball brawl of all time by ESPN.

Oh I didn't even listen to it .. Ryan got a lot of good hits on him .. :D

The only thing missing was for the video to stop after the first punch, then Ventura walks in front of it and says, "I bet you're wondering how I got here..."

His sacks may have went down last half of season but his pressures went up.

:lmao2:

There have been so many athletes who looked the part but fell short I don't even know where to start. I'm not saying Gary is a scrub but Garrett is simply a different kind of beast.

All you need to do is look at a side by side comparison of their body composition. Garrett looks like Gymnast and Gary looks pedestrian who eats at McDonalds twice a week.

Op i guess you’re really asking if we can have any hope of him being good…and he pointed out his measurables are similar to Miles.

I’d like to know myself if he’s decent, good, or potential to be pretty damn good—But by the answers I’ll guess not really.
