Two words: Kyle Kosier.

The Giants basically ended our season last year when they injured Romo's back for the 2nd meeting in December. I still have nightmares of Proctor STANDING STILL while Romo gets destroyed in the endzone for a safety. If Cory Proctor is out and Kyle Kosier is in for that game, Romo probably doesn't get hurt and maybe he plays better against Baltimore and Philly. Bottom line, our offensive line is back in tact and Kosier is our smartest offensive lineman. I look for this game to be a low scoring game but we pull away in the 4th quarter.

Cowboys 27, Giants 17

I don’t agree. If anything that game should have propelled the Cowboys into the postseason. Romo was never listed on the injury report and i don’t buy into that popular excuse. Proctor was terrible but so was Choices pass blocking. If anything, many overlook that part of his game.

I see this as a smash mouth tough game. Will come down to the 4th Quarter. Hurd will have a big game.

24-20 Cowboys

Romo may not have been on the injury report, but he was definitely banged up (see the New York Jets :D). I really did think it affected his play down the stretch; it also doesn't help when your defense is giving up 63 points in the final two games! Our OL is definitely the key in this game.

You mean Kosier can help Gurode snap the ball on the correct count?

No, but at least the other linemen tried to engage with the defenders, unlike Proctor who was as still as Tom Landry's statue outside the stadium lol.

I don't see the domino effect. Every starter is important to team continuity (besides being the best player at that position) and every team loses starters to injury.

As an side, I do appreciate Kosier much more after seeing Proctor last season.

The Cardinals game derailed the season

We were 8-4 going into the Pittsburgh game with us controlling our own destiny. The season's a marathon, not a sprint.

What would have our record been if Romo never got hurt? 10-2? 11-1? IMO if Romo never got hurt then they would have played better down the stretch as well.

Well, people now have an already made excuse if we lose to the Giants...Romo’s ankle.
