Something happened in this game that has been lacking.

Working vertically up the middle. Romo is outstanding at hitting TEs up the seam, and Harris got that TD doing the same thing from the slot.

We need to do this more. It seems like Witten used to catch one or two a game for 20-30 yards. I don't know why we've gotten away from doing it, but it is really effective.

Romo is deadly dropping those passes in there.

Amazing what a balanced Offense can do.

The Chargers are going to be a serious threat.

I loved how we didnt audible all the way down to the last second too.

We just got up to the line and ran the play most of the game.

yes, that is a strength for him. I think in the chiefs game Reid committed his defense to take that away and force romo to work underneath or on the sidelines.

People may be overlooking the fact that Reid coached the Eagles for a billion years, and therefore knew where to attack the Cowboys. In some ways (at least coachingwise) it could have been seen as another division game. He probably knew the right coverage to set to get Romo audible-ing like mad...

I haven't really gone back and checked but it just seems like the team was spreading things out more instead of cramming everyone into the box and allowing the defense to put 7 guys right up next to the LOS.

If there's a book on Romo, it's likely everyone has read it. I'm sure when it doesn't have any bearing on their own team that coaches call each other up and discuss stuff like that.

There's plenty of film on Romo at this point and he's had games against the Eagles that suggests that Reid doesn't have it all figured out. Last year especially, Romo lit them up.

I'm relieved that good Romo showed up today. I was a little worried after last week. With a running game and protection, he is phenomenal.
