So the other day I'm going into a store in the mall, and the guy in there sees my family all wearing Cowboys merchandise, and he starts kind of good-naturedly trash-talking because he's a deadskins fan. So I jaw with him a little bit, when he suddenly gets all serious and says, "Man you guys scare me this year. You got so many weapons Romo can just sit back there and go, 'who do I want to throw it to this play?' I predict y'all will go 13-3 and lose in the Super Bowl." (He couldn't bring himself to predict us winning. lol) But he was really scared about opening night. I was like, "Wow! It's really something when a skins fan is being that realistic! Haha

I have to say I became more confident about Opening Night on that first drive and also when the defense dominated the Bengals first team offense. I still have to see what the Commanders are doing to gauge what it's going to be like in Week 1.

I know it's going to be tough because everyone is undefeated in Week 1, so the Commanders fans will feel reinvigorated. Hopefully, all it takes is a 34-10 score to put their fans back into depression and the Cowboys #1 in the NFC.

It does surprise me to hear of a Commanders fan who has any sense of reality. We really do have a ton of weapons this year. Of course, I'm scared of our games against all 3 NFCE opponents, because they're never easy, no matter what.

Yeah, and that's what was so eerie about our second Commanders game. That was the first time going into a divisional game that I had no doubts we would win. I haven't felt that since Arizona left the division.

I worked with a Commanders fan in California who was realistic. But they seem to be few and far between.

1) Virginia Tech Fans
2) Skins Fas

I pick, laugh, talk trash, compare them, try to rationalize, show stats, compare records, take money from them in bets, laugh, prove to them that they are annually overly optimistic, prove to them that they are annnually overrated, root against them every week, play coy like I am a fan only to get under their skin when they find out that I am not.
