Something I Noticed

I've been watching the player interviews on DC.com multimedia. Two different players so far have not known for sure that the next game is the Giants. Focused on the Raiders seems to have been very real. Is it a good sign? I'd sure like to think so.

Yeah, saw that in the Romo interview. I'm sure he knew who they were playing next, but he did a good job of "showing" that he and the team were only focused on the Raiders up to that point. He has done a nice job with his interviews this year. He has been very consistent and careful with his words.

Romo's comments after the final game last year were so blown out of proportion. Spagnola wrote a decent article about the whole press conference and what led up to his "oh-so-horrible" comments. It was clear that he cared about the game. Anyone who has watched this guy knows how badly he wants to win and to take those couple of sentences and turn them into "he doesn't care about the team losing" is beyond a stretch.

He has basically no room for error in interviews/press conferences and he has done a nice job overall with his comments.

The team, in general, has done a good job with comments (Roy W. needs to shut up a bit).

Two of the Defensive players, Spears and Brooking, are less than thrilled that they gave up a touchdown. They were dead serious too.

Man, I am liking this team. Forgive me, but I like this team.

Just watched some. Spears and Brooking were sincere.

Co-sign on the bold portion.

the only way we lose to the giants is we turn it over more than once.we are too good for that injury riddled team.

Why are you asking forgiveness? Maybe we are finally getting what we want??!?!?. After last year's debactle and all the poision that was in the locker room, Jerry cleaned up his own mess and maybe, just maybe, they will reap benefits. I cannot stress enough the importance of our coach on the field, Keith Brooking. HE has had made a HUGE difference. Now let's see how December turns out.

Those three and Tony's stood out to me. Choice had me absolutely smiling as always. I gotta tell you, Brooking is the best FA signing of at least 5 years as far as I am concerned. Maybe longer. Davis has the skins on the wall in the form of Pro Bowls, but this guy's leadership and intensity is unmatched.

Another reason why Wade has been growing on me (and believe me, I never thought I'd say that). No way Brooking is here if Phillips is not the coach.
