Something isn't right

I wonder sometimes what a healthy Romo could have accomplished with Dak's 2016 o'line and Zeke at RB. Romo caught a ton of crap, and some of it was deserved, but Jerry failed to build a competent team around him for his entire career.
I often wonder how Romo would have done playing as a backup to Tom Brady. I bet he'd have a Super Bowl ring by now!

I liked tony when he played he in the end was just simply not good enough at critical times I like dak as a player but I just don't think he is more than a average qb at best so the team and coaching around him will have tobe really good for him to ever make a deep playoff run

He led the league in 4th quarter comebacks the last three years of his career so I don't know what "critical times" means. He was saddled with a horrible offense line early in his career and a bad defense most of his career (bottom 5 in Def pass rating which is impossible to overcome) and finally he played a virtually flawless Divisional playoff game, threw a perfect pass in a critical moment and had it taken away from him by a call that today would've been a catch.

Also never forget Tony has a better career INT% than both Aikman and Staubach (and Elway and Marino too).

Romo's career is too nuanced for generalities like that.

There is one person however who failed the most in critical times during his entire career and he has admitted it - Jerry Jones.
