Something I've noticed about NFC E fans

for the better part of 5 years now I've been noticing a couple things different about the NFC East and their fans.

First let me get the obvious out of the way...The most noticeable and common thing is that no matter What happens the Cowboys are the most hated team in the East. Even if We were to play a rival, the Other NFC East rival fans Cheer against us and backs up the team playing us. OK that's not new, everyone knows this...

However this is just something I've started notcing the last couple of years...

I've noticed that the Eagles and Giants fans have some little love connection going on. Sure they are Rivals when they play but when they are not playing they pump eachother up and give eachother compliments...For example. The other day I was talking to a Giants fan and He told me straight up, If we Didnt win the Division I hope the Eagles win...And just today I read on the Giants forum a Eagles fan saying the Cowboys suck, but the Giants are a class act..What the hell type of crap is that?

They should get a room and dance..That weak sauce doesnt belong in the NFC East...



The Commanders on the other hand...Those guys stick by their bread and butter. They Hate the Boys more than anything, But they dont act all friendly and Kiss Butt( You know what I really want to say) with the Giants and eagles.


Hey listen being a classy fan and talking Football is one thing..Giving eachother high fives and chating is another...Keep that weak sauce crap out of the NFC EAST.

Can I have everyone's attention. The NFL consists of Dallas Cowboy fans and ABC (Anybody But the Cowboys) fans. You either love us or hate us.

This is NOT a newsflash. It may be to some of the young pups on the team, but this is something the coaching staff must make every guy on the 53 man roster understand. Which is why we were NEVER going to win with Dave Campo or Chan Gailey or Clay Shiver or Troy Hambrick or trading two #1s for Joey Galloway or Dave Lafleur or Sherman Williams or Quincy Carter or Chad Hutchinson or Drew Henson or Ebenezer Ekuban or anybody we had opposite Newman at CB before Henry. I could go on and on, but my point is we need big time talent and big time players and big time coaches because we are going to get everyone's best shot.

If Parcells leaves with a serious playoff run under these kids belt....a cupboard full of top notch young talent signed long term....a healthy cap situation....and a long term solution at QB with a kid who has the moxie to be the QB for the most football organization in the WORLD....we will survive the NFL wilderness

Unless this team regresses and resumes our inconsistent play, we are the team to beat in the NFC and other teams know it. Listening to the game last evening, we all heard one of the announcers say that all the Giant fans were looking over their shoulders at the Cowboys. I think our history of winning, including most visits to the SB, tied with most wins SB wins (hate that we are tied with 2 other teams), most division titles along with most winning seasons has earned the hatred of these other teams. That's why I miss the Cards and wouldn't milnd them back. I don't think they hated us as much cause frankly the other NFC East teams also beat up on them but we at least beat up a lot of times. Got a soft spot and pity in my heart for the Card fans--they deserve better then Bidwell. Imagine what JJones would do to that team if he owned them.

Listening to the game last evening, we all heard one of the announcers say that all the Giant fans were looking over their shoulders at the Cowboys.

I heard those comments as well. They were actually talking about the Giant fans they met at the hotel. They said the Giant fans were disconsolate over the Cowboys win, and that the Giant fans "fear" the Cowboys. In fact, whichever one of those idiots said it, said it twice.

I don't put much stock in the comments from these talking heads, and I was sure the Giant message board would be loaded with angry outbursts and loud boistrous denials. I went to their message board and didn't see a peep out of them. Maybe it's true, they are afraid of the Cowboys.
