I think we need one more impact player. We're close but there's one piece missing. What might that be???... IMO it's a lights out WR to compliment Smiles. The offense is ready to take it to the next level but, in order to open things up, I think we need that big strong intimidating compliment on the opposite side of the field. Is he already on the roster? I think not.

Options?
Brandon Marshall
Chris Chambers (for cheap)

There was nothing wrong with the players we had at the skill positions. We had no trouble scoring in December and blowing out the Eagles.

It's all about linemen.

We need a playmaker at the safety position and a WR to compliment Miles.

Chris Chambers already resigned with the chiefs somethin like a 3 year deal.

Damn... There isn't much out there. Holt is still out there but may be too old.

A great LOT to be the player Flo once was. WR's are the 3rd position that needs upgraded not 1st.

If your thinking defence, the answer is a great ball hawking safety.

I disagree. I think we could have a much more dynamically intimidating offense with two highly productive WRs at the corners. That will open things up in the middle and people like Felix will have nothing but daylight to run to. The linemen still need work but I think our weakest spot is #2 WR.

We'll address Safety in the draft. Book that.

No doubt.. We need a replacement for Flo. Perhaps we already have it in Free... Time will tell. Time and open minded fans... Free is no pushover. I'm speaking directly to getting us over that hump next year. I see that as a #2 WR. It has to be a FA because a draft pick won't pan out for probably 3 or so years. That's my opinion and I am comfortable out on limbs.

We'll get a Safety in the draft.

Bleu, what's going on with these pics lately? First it was that Ninja biker thing and now you look like a sad, black, Zorro. ;)

BTW, I agree with you. If we don't draft one, maybe Tree could be that spark. He just seemed very quick and polished for a rookie last year. I like him.

Of course, we still need a playmaking safety and OL depth too. A run stuffing NT would be nice to keep Rat fresh.

Man this offseason is dragging!

Get us over the hump....the hump was the Vikings DLine this year, the season before it was the Eagles DLine that embarassed Dallas, the years before were the Cards and Seahawks front 7 that ended the Cowboys hopes.

LOL @ the years preceeding Romo! They were full of Drew Bledsoe, Henson, Hutch and Carter. Our Oline was Oline Swiss cheese.

As a matter of FACT the one constant for over a Decade has been lack luster performance along the OLine especially when it counted the most.

Think about it.... whether it be a mobile or immobile QB, whether it was clutch time during the season or when it counted the most in the playoffs......it didn't matter who the Offensive Coordinator was, who the WR was or how good the running game appeared to be..... or even how good the Defense played!

The Dallas Cowboys havn't been able to overcome the sorry Offensive Line since we were winning Superbowls.

We have Oline improvements on the roster. They just need to be given a chance.
