The Cowboys passing game has revolved around pass protection. Very rarely do the Cowboys use quick passes, WR screens, sparingly use RB screens. Many of the route concepts are long developing and even the 10 yard comebacks rely on good pass protection. How many times have we seen Dak blown up on a long-looping play action? How many time have we seen long developing plays when there’s a blitz on?

The Rams are 4th in the league in sacks with 43 total for the season. They have 3 guys with 8 or more sacks this season (Matthews, Fowler, Donald).

Watch to see if we have any semblance of quick passing to offset the pressure, or if we expect the O-line to hold up for 3+ seconds for deep stop routes

Isn't Dak still one of the least sacked QBs in the league

I just looked it up and Dak is the 29th most sacked QB, so all this hooplah about needing to throw more quick passes due to him taking sacks is unfounded. They need more quick routes for the variety, but Dak is not getting sacked all that frequently.

Who said due to him taking sacks?

Who said due to him taking sacks?

Seriously? The entire OP is literally about him being sacked...?

What? It’s about pressure, I never even said the word sack until I named the rams sacks to illustrate they get pressure. No QB does well under pressure and a quick passing game helps alleviate that. Sorry you misunderstood

Now keep an eye out today for the pressure and see how long Dak holds on to the ball and how we do under heavy fire. Cause it’s gonna be coming

Please don't hold your breath LOL that would require adjustment

What exactly does "how many times have we seen Dak get blown up" mean if that's not about being sacked?

Dont even try to explain. These people are too busy posting in the game day thread to even watch the games.

A broken clock is right twice a day not 8-8 twice a day unless the hands are stuck on 8.

I still can't believe we're going to wear these blue uniforms at home
