I've been saying this for years. Our style of play can beat a number of teams but once it's playoff time things change and the run game, offensively and defensively, becomes paramount. For a team that has such a rich history of great running backs and defenses it amazes me that we still don't get it.

From a clean pocket today, Dak was 17/18 passing for 178 yards and 4 TDs.

Aside from Steele, I felt the O-line was generally good tonight. We simply didn’t try to run it enough. That’s on Schottenheimer, not Williams and not any O-lineman.

Thought Guyton was particularly good in pass protection, compared to how he’s previously been.

Guyton has been a pleasant surprise this season. I mean it’s only 2 games but he’s playing fairly well. Or at least better than he ever has. That’s encouraging.

The Parcells teams were tough (2003-06). The game has changed a lot since then, too.
