This is meant to be fun! :)

If you are willing, post something about you that you think is weird, something most other people would think weird, strange, odd, funny, and most of all, just a little OFF (that's me! :D )

I'll start with a couple that come to mind:

* I can NOT turn on the garbage disposal in my sink without shielding my eyes. Probably too many horror films, but I always think there will probably be something in that disposal just WAITING for me to activate the switch so it can fly up and stab my eyes out, like a fork or something.

* razors - This is such a racket (like printer ink or replacement decanters for Mr. Coffee machines) that I MUST use each and every razor until it makes me bleed from not being sharp enough any longer. I must MUST get the MOST mileage out of every last razor. Just because.

Okay, your turn :)

You bleeping psycho! Haha

My wife says I'm weird, but I think she is for not being like me. (She is referring to my obsession with Astronomy / Cosmology / Astrophysics and other sciences)

I count every piece of laundry that comes out of the washer, as I am putting it into the dryer. I try so hard not to, lol, but I can't help it. Before I know it, I am counting the laundry again. It's really fun when I count it in Spanish.

I like to speak in different accents. British (several different regions of), Spanish, Georgian, "Juysy", "Bastin", Russian, German, French, etc.....most of it, I suck at, :p, but it is fun to do anyway. lol. I am very good at the British, Spanish, and Georgian accents, though. The rest is a toss up, depending on how much I've had to drink. lol. When I was in college for Nursing, I had very high scores on all of my tests and schoolwork. Some of my classmates asked me for my study secrets. I told them the truth, when I study, I read out loud in a foreign accent. "It keeps my mind interested in what I am reading," I told them. They all laughed at me and told me I was lying, and that they would never be so foolish as to do something so "uncool". Well, the majority of them ended up failing out, while I went on to graduate Valedictorian.;)

Silverware and teeth. I absolutely hate it when someone takes a bite and scratches across their teeth. The fillings in my two teeth cringe every time I hear that sound. Nails on a chalkboard don't bother me, but scraping a fork gets to me.................

Haha you're a psycho too! I have a southern accent and many people here in the NYC area think I'm a dumb southern hick when they hear it. Of course that's generally followed up with a rude awakening. ;)

I love it when they think I'm a country music fan, then I tell them I love Slayer!

That's definitely odd. When I start a wash I stand their and watch it until the water gets to the top.

I also have to put socks on before I put on pants/jeans

I don't like to eat in the dark...even if it is just dimly lit. Now I will if I have to due to say a power outage or something.

I can't stand the feeling of an emory board or sandpaper on my finger nails. Ok with it I am just holding sandpaper but if it touches my nails it just gives me the willies for some reason.

Although I am not really OCD...I am OCD about some things...I think everyone is like this and understands what I mean.

Numbers on Apps or emails drive me crazy.

For instance if I am in Outlook on my work computer and there is 10 emails I am ok with them if the number does not show on the one side saying unread.
I also have to click on each one to make sure they reach the read status before I can delete them because if I don't the number will show in the deleted folder...hope that makes sense.

I hate when the wife asks me to work on her phone (do OS update or fix a setting) and I see numbers on her icons like face book or I see that she has numbers on her update apps list.

I turn off a good number of my updates on my phone because I don't like getting sound notices for face book and some other apps and if I see a number on one I have to go in and check it, not always because I care what the notification is, I just got to keep the numbers off there. Drives me crazy.

Now even with the notifications off so they do not appear on my phone icons...If I do go into an app like Facebook and see the numbers one the private message or notification icon...I have to click on them to make the numbers go off of it. LOL

Plus an extra benefit to turning off a number of notifications like that is that it can save some battery life...but the main reason is the numbers and the noise.

I can't eat in the dark either. I cross my fingers for "chance" but don't cross the tips (like I'm toeing the line or something:D) I used to have a "mandles" rant somewhere:p

What about alerts? Because I'm now going to quote your posts several times so the numbers appear up there on the header. :D

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

But yes...I Have to click them, partly for Mod duties...partly just to get the numbers to go away.

Well I say HAVE to...I really don't have to, but they will drive me crazy if I see them and not click on them.

I do it by twos and won't go any higher than twenty four and start over making a note of that group and adding them all up Don't do it all the time I guess just when boredom produces absolutely nothing.

OT:
Harry's razors. Switched to it about two months ago and still using the same blade. The replacements are insanely cheap and shipping is free. Enter the code "fms" and its all of twelve bucks for the shaver, blades and shaving cream. I recommend it. Gillette can kiss my *** with their ridiculous blade prices that don't last more than a week. Seriously..... Give it a try. Harrys.com.

Me too, since I put mine on standing up so it is easier to bend the leg unfettered with jeans,so your not all that weird just unusual.

Wow. Are you my twin brother or something? I delete apps if they ever show a number. In Outlook, I read all emails in a minute at most to avoid seeing the unread number. I get crazy when I see folks with 1500 unread email sign on outlook.
