Technically, Jerry was the owner and GM...it's why he would insert himself in deals and even in the Charles Haley situation. Jimmy had control of personnel for the most part, no doubt about it...but he did box Jerry out. Parcells also boxed Jerry out. Point is, it can be done and it is the mission once you accept this job. Jerry's meddling comes with it.

Jerry and Jimmy were buds...but I think Jerry was afraid of Jimmy in a way. A healthy fear I'd say. . Once Jimmy gave jerry the three Super Bowls (yes...I said three)....jerry feared no one. And in fact said he could do it himself.

Here we are.

Not sure after all these decades....how someone around jerry could not convince him to bring in a power coach. Even Tuna sorta caved. I think once Jerry does kick his bucket, the movie will come out. It's an epic story. Jerry will prolly sell the rights before he goes.

My comment wasnt offenisve. You did not understand it like it was meant and because of that took it personal. Thats the explanation why you commented it the way you did.

I started calling him that when we hired him as head coach to remind me that our 30-year problem is not the coaches but the front office. Ok then i interpret your post to me as it didnt happen as it is very imporant to you that you did not answer to me.

But i thank you that you found the courage to ask me about my initial intention and i will give you an explanation. Just dont make the mistake to think i did answer to you. Cause i didnt!

My point was and still is that a post on a-social media is not supposed to give some profound information. This medium's concept is to stimulate the hypothalamus and give riving word crap to let the savages rage about it.

And this is what kind of information you get from the photo that was posted. In fact: None. Of course everybody starts to interpret it. But its not researched and has no facts given by the poster to cement what he wants to say. Where actually in fact he doesnt want to say anything. Just tries to stimulate emotions.This is what generates clicks.

And thats what my post was about. As meaningless as the picture on Twitter was and is, so is my question where his other hand was. And thats the reason why my last sentences also was "we will never know".

Why? Again: Because nobody is interessted to put in the work to post profounded stuff. And they actually cant because 99% of them dont know how to do that on a professional level. And so we will lack the essential stuff. The information that gives the proof why it is like it was posted or said.

So why even bother with this crap anyways? The greatest danger i sense is that people (like you for instance) dont know how to handle information posted on a-social media. There are a lot people who dont have the inner distance for it. And the same thing that happend to you happens to a lot of others to. They enrage and offend others. And because of what? Because of some decisive crap some bum posted. A-social media is the death of socialized society.

And i just have to smh and asked myself: Heck, where is his other hand ?!

Nope. Legally, Jimmy was the GM. It was written in his contract. Jerry didn't become GM until he ran Jimmy off.
