There's nothing funny about vicious weather, but often the guys reporting about storms are unintentionally funny--or at least to me...

Simply sayng the words 'WHOA!' or 'WOW!' can sometimes be better than just relaying EVERYTHING you see. :)

Yeah. The reporting on the storm was pretty embarrassing IMO. Cantore put some of the drama queens on this forum to shame with his on-site reporting.

I can understand that Katrina has made an impact on the way people will view big storms from here on out, but these guys were almost inciting panic in a situation that requires rational decision making. Leave the personal opinions to the political reporters....

Well, I wasn't really looking at it from a "panic reporting" angle. More like... "There's a limb!!! It hit that car!!!" I mean, what's the camera for if not to show viewers what's being reported? :)

"There's a limb!!! It hit that car!!!" <--Captain Obvious to the rescue! :p:

Lmao...yeah the video you posted is more funny than anything. I was just referring to the reporting in general...it was extremely dramatic in most cases. Hard to take them seriously when they're more freaked out than the average viewer.

The guy in your video was probably just trying to keep up with the rest of them...but ran out of ideas. "Oh look! AHHHHH!! Oh noes!!" :D
