I am not talking about us as fans but the owner of this team.

Let's start with putting the division champ's offense in the hands of an inexperienced OC and bragging about that with the "anyone gets in your way, come see me".

I won't get into his interference and involvement with the coaching and team as that is already being addressed within other threads.

This entire exercise we've been subjected to with that egomaniacal incompetent was encapsulated last night in a segment on Fox's pregame with the owner.

You might not know the details but when the contract with CBS, the underwriter of the old NFL and then the NFC, was up the owners, led by the Cowboys owner were at a negotiating wall and instead of working through that, he pulled an end run with Murdock and Fox and while that was an increase in money, it was considered very poor form and not really negotiating in good faith but the other owners went along with it. It is, however, not something they'd like to be made public.

When the piece opened and I saw the owner sitting at an empty bar with a glass of whiskey in front of him and he began to brag about what he was instrumental in doing, I am sure my mouth just hung open in disbelief. That segment said it all. That is the problem with the Dallas Cowboys.

Why have him at an empty bar with a glass of whiskey and brag about blindsiding the partner of the NFL for decades? Has he become so enamored with himself that he thinks that is acceptable?

Well, at that point, I said out loud to no one in particular because I was alone, "I hope they get their butts kicked tonight". And I was sorry that they scored those meaningless points when the Bears backed off. I will be pulling for LA, PHL and the crowning glory would be for them to lose to a HC-less Skins team. I want the self-destruction complete. I want to see that sad clown in the owner's suite.

He got just what he deserved last night for a lot of reasons and I got just what I wanted. I am so sick and tired of this entire sham of a season, the coaching crap that keeps that clown in the news and this gutless team that can only show passion when yelling at each other.

I'm tired of Jerry's self-aggrandizing, finding new ways to put his face on TV and his voice on radio, and his ridiculous attempts to convince the world he's not only the greatest businessman who ever lived but also a "football guy".

His stadium is a circus tent. His coaches are the clowns. His players are the performing acts. His kids are just along for the ride, making a living off daddy's show.

I don't like Jerry the owner, the GM, or the egomaniac. They're all one in the same, and they've turned the Dallas Cowboys into the NFL's laughingstock. :muttley:
