Just wanted to take this time and say, I am really really happy I was wrong about Miles Austin.
I wanted to trade him for a 1st round draft pick, and that would have been a horrible horrible loss. Didn't realize how good he was. I wouldn't trade him for two first round draft picks.
But Ray Lewis should have been brought in. We need hard nosed attitudes in that locker room.
I thought Keith Brooking was that last year, but apparently there is no heart on this team. I don't blame Brooking though, I blame the coach, the owner, and the staff. I think it starts with them. Its starts with creating a winning atmosphere that doesn't settle for anything less then excellence.
On another note, I was also right with Nick Folk. We just needed to wait. Don't give up on young players who have shown they can do a great job, just becasue they struggle at some point.
