Somewhat a 'Vanilla' game plan on offense?

I noticed that Romo didn't wear a arm band with the plays on it last night, which may signal a conservative game plan on offense? If this is the case, I think that Jason Garrett didn't want to be too exotic before we meet the Patriots next weekend (I am going to the game). The Bills were undermanned on defense, but not with the heart they displayed. I just found this odd, since usually QB's were this, especially in hostile environments!

The pass rush was very vanilla too. They did very little to confuse the protection that I saw. Overall the defense did a great job, but I think they could have forced more turnovers. I think the coaching staff took the week off instead of game planning. This is were coaches like Belicheat reign supreme. They perpare for every game methodically and because of that, are generally never caught by surprise. Very disappointed in Garrett and Phillips.

We definitely weren't prepared.

It was different, I noticed. Where was Barber in the Red Zone?
Not a lot of movement by Romo, just plenty of drops and sitting in the pocket.

I kept saying that also. What happen to putting TO in motion, or lining him up in the backfield? I gotta think Redball played it conservative last night.

I tought about it during the game. It seemed to me that the game was called a lot different than the four games before.
It surely didn't help, that Romo was throwing so many bad passes.
