I second this motion and offer the following amendment:

LMAO :lmao:

So far I like the Breaking Benjamin song the best...but I'm not quite feeling any of these songs really hit the mark with a bulls eye.

I lived through the 80's and 90's and liked the music but I've been there and done that.

We need Romo/Ware/Ratliff/Witten's music....not stuff from Aikman's era.

Is this better?

This is the only Cowboy song for me.

When I was 22 I had an 18 yr old girl friend who like to make me tapes. I know its gay, BTH it was her thing.

After the Boys beat the Niners in the 1992 Championship I jump in car to pick her up. It's only 20 mins or so since the final gun so I'm still in a euphoric state of mind.

I pop in the tape because I know that's the first thing she going to ask about.

And this is the first song. I was like wow, this really fits.

I've thought for the last 5-7 years that the song below would be great for a highlight video.

A friend's brother was the guitarist in the band Pressure 4-5. The song is called "Beat the World". They did two albums and a few tours (including Ozzfest) and then disbanded. Basically I think a few members were afraid of fame or it wasn't what they thought it would be when they first started out.

It's hard not getting fired up listening to this song.

I'd love to see Theebs to a season highlight video to this.

Or perhaps a little Counting Crows "Long December"

The Counting Crows is for LAST YEAR.

But now...No more melancholy and pensive reflections.

Believe, baby.

Here are what I think are the ingredients of a successful choice...
1. Rock but not slasher rock or decades-old rock
2. No wussy crap
3. Anthem. It's gotta have a big sound and message.
4. Hard-asssssd. This is football.
5. Victorious. No downer crap and pessimism.

I can't post this because it has foul language, and it's a terrible song that doesn't really fit the Cowboys. But it's hilarious, "it's so cold in the d original". I laugh my arse off every time I watch it and my wife and I sing that quite often when it's cold outside.

Youtube.

The Enemy Within -RUSH

Things crawl in the darkness
That imagination spins
Needles at your nerve ends
Crawl like spiders on your skin

Pounding in your temples
And a surge of adrenaline
Every muscle tense to fence the enemy within

[Chorus:]
I'm not giving in to security under pressure
I'm not missing out on the promise of adventure
I'm not giving up on implausible dreams
Experience to extremes
Experience to extremes...

Suspicious looking stranger
Flashes you a dangerous grin
Shadows across your window...
Was it only trees in the wind?

Every breath a static charge,
A tongue that tastes like tin
Steely-eyed outside to hide the enemy within

To you, is it movement or is it action?
Is it contact or just reaction?
And you...revolution or just resistance?
Is it living, or just existence?
Yeah, you! It takes a little more persistence
To get up and go the distance

[Chorus]

I apologize in advance, but I had to post this considering it had "believe" in it. Hey, I was a pre-teen when this came out, and of course...I still remember it today :p
